The company's response is misleading and incorrectI was never informed of a policy stating I had to call to discontinue service.I did call in Octas stated in my complaint and the company went ahead and still charged me for November serviceThis in itself proves their claim a call is needed to discontinue service is not their policy but just an arbitrary excuse to try and over charge meThe company representative who answers the phones in Octtold me she would contact the driver to see if he had picked up the garbage in Octand get back to meThat never happenedIf the company had talked with the driver the driver would have verified that 1) he did not pick up any trash, 2) that there were no garbage cans present at the end of our drivewayIn the company's response they compare their service with the cable and electcompanyPoor analogyIf I had signed a contract with EZ stating I would call to stop service then I would have violated the contract and therefore would have to pay for Octeven though my trash wasn't picked upBear in mind EZ bills a month in advanceWhen they did not receive payment for Octby Octall they would have had to do was inform the driver not to pick up trashInstead their position is they didn't know if the driver picked up the trashThe company states "they went by to ck my trash" The neighbors down the road use EZ for their trash pickup so the driver drives right past the end of my driveway on his way to the neighbors houseFinally EZ states in their response "what else can they do? The obvious answer is what I have already statedStop sending me a bill for a service they did not provide for trash pickup for the month of OctIf the company can provide me with a copy of a contract I signed stating I would call them to cancel trash pick up a month in advance I will gladly send them the fee for Octtrash pickup
