Review: Purchased C-Max & bought Ford Maintenance Package from Perry Ford 1/31-13.

Took C-Max in for regular maintenance as suggested by Ford. After maintenance by Ford.

8/7/13 car died & had to be towed 8/12/13. After maintenance on 1/28/14, Car died & had to be towed 2/17/14. I went to start the C-Max on 6/13/14 IT WAS DEAD AGAIN. Tow truck driver was able to jump start the car but I refuse to drive it & had it towed to Perry Ford again because I want Ford to find the root of the problem. Again Ford could not find the root of the problem!

We have not been able to go out of town overnight in the Ford C-Max because we never know when it will die again. We have tried working with Ford to no avail. We do not trust this car. We need another Car. The first case # was CAS 4[redacted]67, the second # 4[redacted]19. The Ford representative we worked with was Melissa Cruz ###-###-####.

Ven.10# 1FADP5AU8DL510621. Service Advisor @ Perry Ford is [redacted] ###-###-####.Desired Settlement: With our Honda Trade in we paid $27,750.27 for the Ford Lemon. We want equal compensation for a new car. We have made all of our payments on time & maintained the C-max to Ford standards.

The C-Max has not met normal vehicle standards & is greatly diminishing the reputation of American Vehicle Manufacturing.

Review: I purchased a Ford Escape in December, I was talked into buying extended warrenty for the car. The car ended up having major shifting problems. I took it into Perry Ford and to Paso Robles Ford and neither one fixed the problem. The car literally clucked when it down shifted, and the RPM dials spinned like it wasn't in gear . My husband told me to get rid of it because it truely was a lemon. WE were afraid we would be injured or that the car would not last. I traded it in and paid it off. I requested my money back for the extended warrenty because I had not yet gone over the manufactor's 36,000 warrenty. Only had 17,000 miles on the car. I was told I won't get my full refund. I do not see that anywhere on the paperwork that Perry Ford gave me. The dealer never told me that. I gave them the pay off information back on September 18th and still have not recieved my $1392.00 back for a service I never used and was talked into without full disclosure. I would like help getting my money back.Desired Settlement: I want my full refund for a service that I paid for and never used. I want Ford to pay me back in full even though the product that they talked me into came from First Extended because the car that they sold me was defective. And they did not fully disclose that my refund would be based on how many miles were on the car when I sold it.
