Persnickety Toys

I just went to Persnickety Toys in North Adams, MA to return a stuffed animal toy I got for my son. The tags were still on it and my son never even touched it. The toy was too immature for my son and he just had no interest in it whatsoever. The owner of the store said she wouldn't accept my return. She said she wouldn't accept it because it was something she sold for half off and she just wanted to get rid of it. Sounds like a scam to me. On top of that, she was just totally rude. I asked her for store credit since she would not give me a refund, and she still said no. She attempted to return 2 items without a receipt. The item she did not mention in her complaint was covered with lint and animal hair. The Lamaze Octopus was purchased from my Sale Section which has a sign "Bargains in the Back...No returns on sale items" I was not rude, I stated the facts and she did not get her way.
