Review: My mother and I have been frequenting this business for years spending thousands and thousands of dollars at this business. Just recently, I went to visit my mom for her surgery and we decided to have several days of beauty at Persona Day Spalon. We have never had an issue with them until this past visit. I requested a Keratin Straightening Treatment and was wrongly given a Keratin Smoothing Treatment. Upon realizing about ten minutes into the services that I was receiving the wrong service, [redacted] said "I'm sorry." and continued with her service knowing it was the incorrect service. I also received a color that day. After receiving the wrong service, I asked to receive the correct service and had a hard time getting an appointment for one. [redacted] volunteered and they gave me the correct service at a discounted rate which I thought was fair and kind. After receiving the correct service, I was not allowed to wash my hair for 72 hours, which was more than fine. Upon washing my hair after the 72 hours was up, I observed that all the color that was placed in my hair going down the drain. That happens sometimes, that extra color seeps out down the drain so I thought nothing of it. When getting out of the shower I realized that the last treatment they gave me stripped the color out of my hair and my hair was not straight at all, but frizzy and curly, reverted back to normal. I called the owner and she simply says "No refunds, delete my number." I believe I deserve a full refund for both treatments and for the color and for the $50 dollar voluntary tip I left that was contingent upon the service being intact for the promised 3-5 months. It did not even make it a week. After being very polite and still got hung up on , I am very upset and want the money back based on principle and business. I was not told prior that if the services did not work that I would not be offered a refund. I was told that only after asking for one. [redacted] is the owner and [redacted] was the one performing the services.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund for the color $60, I would like a refund for the smoothing treatment I didn't ask for and that they were aware was the wrong treatment and still did it $87.00 (which no results either) and I would also like a refund for the Keratin Straightening treatment that did not straighten my hair at all $30 and I would also like a refund for the styling they charged me and I was not aware of and didn't ask for of $20 and I would like the complimentary tip provided to [redacted] of $50.

Hope your Holiday was wonderful. I am writing because I have obtained further information that is critical to the claim I have previously filed. I called the company ([redacted]) and spoke with [redacted] about the situation. She had some information for me on why the treatment did not work and why the treatment took the color that Persona applied to my hair. The company [redacted] details specifically in writing on all of their products that this treatment should not be given within two weeks of another hair treatment. [redacted] from [redacted] says that information is included in all their products that are sent to Persona Day Salon/Spalon. [redacted] (who can be reached by calling the [redacted] helpline) says this was definitely a stylist error. Due to the treatments not being done according to [redacted] instructions, that is the reason none of the three treatments worked and why the color is no longer in my hair at all. Due to this error with the stylist not waiting the two weeks, $300 has been completely wasted with no benefit to me, the consumer at all. Thank you for your time and your help it is most appreciated.
