In the summer of I met with [redacted] ***, owner of AA Power Washing & Painting, about staining our summer home; staining would be done summer He had worked for many years for my parents Between June and August we had numerous face to face visits and phone calls to discuss the job Mr [redacted] never sent a written contract for the job, only quoted a price over the phone During his visit we discussed the work, he reviewed the cabin's condition and noted that most of the cabin did not need the trim painted I said that I would do the trim and power wash the cabin all he had to do was stain the body of the cabin He called weeks later with a quote of either $or $but he did not send a contract After informing my daughter that I hired someone to paint she said she would do it I contacted Mr [redacted] in the fall of and told them my daughter and her husband would do the staining but if it fell through I would want him to do the staining In June
