THIS COMPANY MISDIAGNOSED MY CAR PROBLEM THEN TRIED TO CHARGE ME FOR ANOTHER REPAIR THAT WAS TOTALLY WRONGI HAD TO HAVE MY CAR TOWED TO ANOTHER FACILITY WHERE IT WAS REPAIRED FOR THIS BUSINESS WAS VERY AGGRESSIVE TOWARDS ME WITH THE CLAIMS THAT WERE FALSE, EVEN IF THEY WOULD HAVE PERFORMED THE TASKE THEY WERE CHARGING ME IT STILL WOULD NOT HAVE FIXED THE SMALL PROBLEM I ACTUALLY HADI BELIEVE THIS COMPANY IS GETTING VERY AGGRESSIVE TO SCAM PEOPLE INTO PAYING LARGE SUMS OF MONEY FOR THIS TYPE OF THING.TranslateDesired Resolution / OutcomeDesired Resolution:RefundselectDesired Outcome:I WISH ALL MY MONEY RETURNED FOR COMPLETE MISDIAGNOSED ISSUE

The customer called to inform us that they were bringing their vehicle because it was overheating. They towed in the vehicle to the shop. When we checked the vehicle, there was no water in the cooling system and we saw that there was a new aftermarket cooling fan assembly and there was stop leak in...

the radiator. We added coolant in the system to pressurize it to check for leaks, but there was no leaks. We checked the fan as well and it was working properly. So we recommended the customer to replace the radiator and thermostat in case if it was clogged due to the additive of stop leak. After we took off the thermostat, we flushed the cooling system of the engine block and found that there was a plentiful amount of compound (stop leak). After we replaced the thermostat and radiator, it took more time for the vehicle to overheat. (must drive about 3-4 miles to over heat but before we replaced the radiator and thermostat, the vehicle would over heat in less than a mile). So we mentioned that the vehicle may need a head job because everything else was working properly. The customer asked "if it needs the head job, how much would it cost", we told them that it may be about 4-5 thousand dollars, but we don't even accept that kind of work at our facility. The customer said that they have a relative that can do the head job on the vehicle so they payed for the work that we have done and picked up the vehicle. About two weeks later after they picked up their vehicle, they sent us a letter stating that they wanted their money back for the work we have done to the vehicle because they said we have misdiagnosed. So we offer to refund a portion amount of her money and install the original radiator back on her car to make her happy, but she declined the offer. We even offered her to watch us install her original radiator, but she still declined the offer. She wanted all of her money back for what we have done to her vehicle including the oil change and the new radiator that we installed. We did not want her to keep the radiator that we installed because we have to return it to the store to get credited back.
