Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because:
There was indeed a very small amount water damage to the floor when the technician from Al's refrigeration came out but his assertion that it was hard to pull the fridge out because of the buckling is completely untrue I pulled the fridge out myself to inspect the damage, dry out the floor and ensure that there was no additional leakage
The damage before Al's technician inspected the fridge was so minor that we had planned to do nothing about it other than make sure no additional water leaked from the fridge We have had a similar amount of damage in the past and within a few months the floor had settled and the damage was virtually unnoticeable When the technician arrived the water to the fridge was turned off He stated on his invoice "No Leak" and HE turned the water back on The subsequent damage was so severe that the wood in our entire kitchen and part of the living room was destroyed beyond repair and had to be pulled up In addition, the tile in the mud room, pantry, bathroom, and utility room also had to be pulled up We had to have fans in our house for over a week We are still walking around on the sub-floor and will be for weeks to come and we have no cooktop because our kitchen island also had to be pulled out.Sincerely,*** ***

their kitchen. Larry, my service technician, told me: “I tried to pull the refrigerator out to inspect for leaks. I noticed the floor was buckled so it made it difficult to move but I proceeded. I turned the water on and discovered NO leaks near the water valve or underneath the unit by the filter housing. I continued to watch for 25 minutes. There was still no leakage. I returned the refrigerator to its proper location over the buckled floor.” Our insurance company has been contacted. I also recommended to [redacted] that he contact his homeowners insurance.
