- The pictures look accurate We thank Ms [redacted] for providing them There were three repaired nail holes on the stairs which were painted with the paint PROVIDED BY THE CUSTOMER Since the customer cannot locate the correct paint, we will gladly repaint not just the three golf ball sized areas but the entire stair wall with whatever paint the customer requests - The same paint was used at the entry to cover the damage done by termite tubes AT THE REQUEST OF THE CUSTOMER: our company does not usually spackle holes created by termite damage but did so PER THE REQUEST OF THE CUSTOMER The customer was aware of the termite damage when they called us out for a free estimate in February yet chose to wait almost four months for treatment Mr [redacted] was aware that patched holes would need to be painted if we foamed the walls We treated the wall from the garage side and WE DID NOT TREAT THE CEILING BY THE FRONT DOOR The technician patched the existing termite damage on the second visit because THE CUSTOMER REQUESTED IT BE DONE and [redacted] painted over it as a courtesy for Ms [redacted] WITH HER CONSENT, because she was pregnant and upset and he had compassion for herHe did not know the paint she provided did not match and even painted cardboard before applying it to the wall to make sure Ms [redacted] would be satisfied Additionally, he promised to call back and make sure it dried to the right color and offered to come out and repaint with a different paint if it didn't THE CUSTOMER DENIED THIS SOLUTION AND STATED SHE WOULD ONLY BE HAPPY WITH A FULL REFUND.- Since the entire [redacted] (walls and ceilings) was sprayed with a flat paint prior to Ms [redacted] 's purchase of the home, we would like to offer to call the seller and find out the paint that was used so that an appropriate match can be made.- [redacted] did not ask about Ms [redacted] 's pregnancy to be rude or inappropriate He is a father of six and has a grandchild on the way and thought finding common ground for conversation might help diffuse an otherwise volatile situation If Ms [redacted] found it offensive we are sorryIt was not his intention- The young man who drilled at the [redacted] is a part-time employee of Pest Patrol He is a hard working and conscientious employee Since he does not apply any products, it is not required that he be a licensed applicator If he left a drill bit on the premises, it was more than likely an oversight We would have come back out to dispose of it since it is not the customers responsibility We thank Ms [redacted] for throwing it away and are sorry for the inconvenience of having to do so herself We will address the matter with each of our employees so it does not happen again at any jobsiteEVER - We are sorry the customer feels that "everything looks dirty and ruined and it wouldn't have happened" but IT WOULD NOT HAVE HAPPENED IF THE HOMEOWNERS HAD GIVEN US THE CORRECT PAINT Both the bee service and the termite service were completed properly with the initial applicationOUR TECHNICIAN DID MISTAKENLY HIT A STUD after being called back out to foam at no additional charge Because of this, we properly repaired the wall as evidenced by the photos.- The only work which was left in an unsatisfactory state was the paint choice [redacted] guessed that might be an issue which is why he offered to come back out If Ms [redacted] is not willing to allow [redacted] to correct it personally, we are happy to issue a $ [redacted] gift card so she can pick out a more suitable color and better quality of paint with which to paint the entire wall

On May 21, we had Pest Patrol out to our residence to service an ant problemThe technician (***) was very nice and very knowledgeableHe took the time to explain what and how he was going to proceed and even went into explaining the pesticides they useService was done promptlyIt has only been weeks since the service but so far results are goodI would recommend Pest Patrol to anyone looking for a prompt, reliable service

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
I feel as though both parties (the Revdex.com and Pest Patrol) are not understanding the heart of my complaintYes, I do want to paint my wall to cover Pest Patrol's mistake, but that's not my main concernI understand and appreciate Pest Patrol's willingness to pay for paint to correct the damage they've caused, but the reason I want my full refund is because I paid almost dollars to have a year warranty with this companyDuring the months that I did not have my *** treated after Pest Patrol's quote, I was researching and getting quotes from other companiesI found plenty of other highly marked companies that were much more affordable than Pest Patrol, but it was their warranty that stuck with my husband and I and we ultimately decided to go with themTermites are not a "one and done" type of thingThey usually come back, so we thought the warranty was a good ideaHowever, I don't want *** or his company coming back to my *** after my experienceI want my money back to void the warranty so I can go somewhere elseYes, I can call a different company when the termites come back, but there's another 400-dollars I'll need to shell out and I'll have a pointless year warranty floating around that I'm never going to use. I am also very upset with the blatant lies they're still tellingThey keep saying they did everything "per request of the customer", but the truth is they OFFERED painting as a solutionI didn't ask for him to do it, but I did agree to let him try it outI allowed him to try whatever he thought would work to correct the mistake they has madeI wanted to give the company a shot to make things rightHowever, the attitude and totally unsympathetic/condescending tone *** took with my husband and I each time he spoke to us very much turned us off. Also, the wall damage done by the studs being hit was NOT done when they came out to foam my front door "free of charge" (which they did because it was previously OFFERED to us)The studs were hit when they first came out and treated everythingWe just didn't notice until a couple of days later because we had so much going on personallyThe sob story about *** being a father of six, being genuinely interested in my pregnancy, and having the desire to help me makes me sickHe wasn't being kind, he was being sarcastic and rude because I threatened to report himAnother upsetting thing that he said was "it wouldn't have happened if I'd given him the correct paint"When I bought the house there were gallons and gallons of random paint left in the garageWe looked at them together and decided to try one we thought looked closeAgain, I never would have had to "pick the wrong paint" and put it on my walls had they followed protocol and used the stud finder like they were supposed to, but I wanted to give him a chance. What it all boils down to is not the issue of paintIt's the issue of not wanting to ever have to be in contact with *** or any member of his company ever againI would like my refund so that I can go with a different company if need beA $*** *** gift card will not change my view of this company or make me trust them to come back out to my homeIf they are still going to fight me on this, I will have to take further action and go to the Attorney General's office and report them to the Structural Pest Control Board

To Whom It May Concern:This email is in response to complaint #*** filed by *** *** I have owned and operated Pest Patrol since its inception in In over twenty years, this is the first time I have experienced a customer service complaint to the Revdex.com
Please allow me to explain the course of events from our perspective. In February of this year, we were called out to the *** of Chis *** (the name which this account is under) to do a termite inspection free of charge Although evidence of termites were found on the home, Mr*** made the decision not to treat at that time When the call came into the office regarding bees, one of our friendly office staff found the account listed under Mr***'s name and made an offer to Ms*** over the phone: if she would like the *** treated for bees at the same time as treating the termites, we would lower the original estimate for termites to $ This is an exceptional offer considering the fact that we use a top of the line product (***) and extend a free year warranty with service The bee service was completed for a nominal $fee and a six month warranty was issued with this service.Ms*** stated that she needed to speak to her husband, Mr*** She called back and scheduled the service as agreed On May 19th, the service technician completed the whole house service just as we do for every other customer who hires us for like services The following day, Mr*** called the office to say that (back in February), the technician said he would treat the ceiling near the door where termite tubes were coming out My office staff explained that foaming the wall is usually reserved for problems that are not resolved with the first application: treating leaves spackling areas that need to be touched up with paint Mr*** said they would paint and he wanted the service completed as "promised" back in February He was adamant that the technician should have remembered that conversation (from February) and was angry that he didn't do so To avoid customer dissatisfaction, an appointment was made for the following morning to render the requested services free of charge The technician returned less than hours from the initial application to complete the foaming process This occurred on the 20th.The following morning, Ms*** called the office upset and complaining that there was still some activity where the bees had been treated Although this is not an unusual occurrence and sometimes rectifies itself, I scheduled an appointment to treat the problem and appease the customer My technician retreated the area the same day (5/21) for no charge. When Mr*** called the office on 5/22, he said that the technician had "drilled through his wall" I explained that this would be an impossible thing to have happened since it is the slab of the house that is treated He demanded it be fixed the same day because Ms*** was having a party I delayed my plans to go out of town for the Memorial Weekend and I went directly to their home Upon inspection, I found that when my technician came out for the requested foaming of the walls from the garage, he inadvertently hit a stud which caused nails to protrude on the staircase As a side note, the technician was never in this area of the *** and would have had no way of knowing it had happened without seeing it (it is not something we have ever encountered on a jobsite) Regardless of that, it DID happen and shouldn't have Because Ms*** wanted the repair immediately, I offered to go to *** ***, buy the necessary supplies, and fix it myself She said that was her preference I advised her that I could satisfactorily patch the wall but the paint would be difficult to match because the wall surrounding it was dirty but I would do my best to feather it in She said she really hated the paint because it couldn't be cleaned very well I told her it was because it was cheap, flat paint and she should consider using a higher sheen paint. After the repair had been made, Ms*** brought out three cans of paint to cover the repair I tested a bit on a piece of cardboard We let it dry and she and her dad approved the paint color as being the correct one After touching up the stair wall, I offered to paint the ceiling for her as well (which is absolutely not part of our service- which had been made clear to Mr***- but we went the extra mile to appease the customer). When I left, both she and her father seemed pleased with the job I did I told her that I would call her on Tuesday (when I was back from vacation) to see how it dried and to make sure her husband was pleased with the job as well I did exactly as promised but got her message machine She called me back and demanded her money back She made threats to defame our business if we didn't refund her money in full. Unfortunately, this is not an optionWe did a complete termite treatment with an expensive product at reduced cost to make it affordable in the first place We have paid our technician to do the initial termite treatment, to foam the wall as requested, and to retreat the bees I took personal time to repair the *** and did not leave until the customer seemed satisfied Their bee service is warrantied for six months and their termite warranty is effective for yearsBecause it seemed they could not afford the regular price for treatment, we discounted it to begin with I have even offered to come out and paint the entire stair wall free of charge.I vehemently dispute Ms***'s claims to have "ruined everything they touched" The complete termite job was done according to industry standards and the bee job was treated two times with nothing ruined and to customer satisfaction We were never responsible for painting the ceiling where the termite tubes had done damage but we did so as requested The ONLY thing done in error was the displacement of three nails which were completely repaired Mr*** knew that the ceiling would need to be painted after we treated Ms*** chose the paint that was put on the wall There was no "sloppy patchwork", just cheap paint There has been every opportunity to "make things right" but (as evidenced by the four consecutive, daily visits to their home) they are not willing to be satisfied The reason that "if I have one wall painted, the rest will have to be painted to match" is because it is a flat and inexpensive paint and the walls are marked with dirt from daily living.Ms***, I told you if you wanted to avoid this hassle you could get three estimates for painting the entire effected wall and I would chose one to do so You have created unnecessary stress on our office staff and business as a whole Since you have chosen to make unwarranted statements against our company, I am no longer willing to go out of my way for you It is clear you will not be pleased If you would like me to paint your wall, I will gladly do so I will not repaint your entire room That is excessive in every way Your warranty stands for both the termites and bees If you have any issues, please call and I will personally take care of arising issues myself We stand behind our service, our products and our warranty I am very sorry the stud was hit and very sorry you are still dissatisfied but I am very glad there was no permanent damage to your home.Sincerely,*** *** Pest Patrol - ***-***-***(***) Mailing Address:** *** *** ** ***

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I was told to contact the Revdex.com if the company tried to contact me directly, and I just got a very lengthy email from them that looks like it was it was sent to both the Revdex.com and I. In the letter, [redacted] talks to me directly in the last paragraph and has lied about multiple things. The first lie was the reason they discounted the price. The truth is, [redacted] (manager?) said that they were really full on the day that they had originally sheduled me on and that if I moved it up and did termites with them that she'd make the "executive decision" to do the bees for free. I figured it was a win win and we'd be helping eachother out.  The second lie was that I called "upset about the bees". I called because they told me that if they were not gone in the next couple of days, they would come out and respray for free. So, I did as I was told and called them to let them know they were still buzzing around. Mike came and resprayed and that was that.  [redacted] did try to patch the damage his team had caused, but the fact remains that it does not look good. Yes, my paint is flat and cheap, but it all looked the same until [redacted] and his company came into my home. The seller I bought the [redacted] from left some paint behind, so I took [redacted] up on his offer to try and paint over the patchwork. However, it did not work. When he left and "my father and I were happy", it was because it hadn't dried yet and I said we'll see how it looks later.  When [redacted] called to "check on things" I told him that it looked terrible and that I was hoping to get my money back. He refused and laughed as if that was the craziest thing he'd ever heard in his life. He then offered to paint the wall for free, but again, I don't want him or anyone from this company in my [redacted] anymore. When I told him that I would be reporting him for damaging the wall and not repairing it to it's original state, he laughed and told me to "go ahead". Then he quickly changed the subject and sarcastically asked if I found out if I'm having a boy or a girl. It was at that point that I said "I'll let you know about the quotes, [redacted]" and hung up. I thought it was very rude and unprofessional of him to ask that question at that time. When I thought about it, I decided I shouldn't be having to call for quotes and wasting my time with this. I wish I would have gone somewhere else, but the damage is done and it is not fixed. They've put a bandaid on the situation and hoped I'd go away. Also, a teenage boy (a relative of [redacted]'s I think) who showed up a few minutes after the exterminator did was the one who did the drilling while the employee sprayed the bees. If he isn't licensed or employed by Pest Patrol, he shouldn't have been the one drilling. There was also a very long and broken drill bit left behind and when I told them they'd left it they said "oh it's broken, you can toss it or we'll take it". Again, not my job, but I didn't fuss about it and just tossed the oily drill for them. In the last paragraph when [redacted] is talking to me directly, he says he's "glad there was no permanent damage done to my home", however, there is. I've had to push his spackle into the holes mulitple times because it somehow keeps trying to poke/fall out. Every time I walk into my home, I see the mismatched paint and the holes where they were "filled". I walk up the stairs and am infuriated that I ever hired and trusted these people who don't care about the stress they've put on their customers.  I would have gladly paid the $75 dollars for bees that they think they so graciously discounted me on if it could change history and stop the wall damage from being done. However, I made the choice to trust them, and now they're making the choice to turn the other cheek and wipe their hands clean of me. I also did not ask [redacted] to paint my entire house, so I don't know why he said that. I said that I would like at least half of my money back for my time that has been wasted and the hassle I've gone through and I'll take care of everything myself. But after all of this, I would like my full refund. I don't want the warranty and I don't want anything to do with this company. I've given him multiple opportunities to fix what had been done, and it is still very unacceptable. I've attached pictures of his "work" so you can see for yourself. If [redacted] is unwilling to refund me my full amount, I will be sure to take further action. Property damage and allowing an unlicensed/unemployed teenager do work on my [redacted] is illegal. Please, Revdex.com, help me with my next steps. I will go as far as I need to go to (Attorney General's Office etc.). I will do anything to get my money back and be done with this unprofessional business. Regards,[redacted]

We are sorry to hear Ms. [redacted] is refusing our offers.  The good news is, because we use [redacted] and do a WHOLE HOUSE TREATMENT our service is usually "once and done" unlike the other companies Ms. [redacted] called for estimates..  Cheaper products and partial treatments are usually what stems the need for retreating the property.  Since we do not apply products in such a casual way, it would be unlikely that calling us back out would be necessary but it can happen for a variety of extenuating circumstances.  Because of this, we always offer a five year warranty.  This should address Ms. [redacted]'s concern regarding possibly needing to "shell out $400-$700 bucks" with another company.  We will retreat any areas that have evidence of new infestation FREE OF CHARGE like we do for all of our customers. To address her concern over coming on her property, we are willing to hire a second licensed professional from another company to escort us to her job site. This should give Ms. [redacted] the confidence to call us if she needs us and will also give us a second pair of eyes to witness our work and ensure it is done exceptionally.  Again, we are sorry the stud was bumped when foaming the wall as Mr. [redacted] requested.  While accidents can happen, that has never happened before in the 20+ years we have done business.  If it wouldn't have happened, painting the three small areas on the stairs would not have been necessary.  We are regret we offered to paint the areas by the front door where Mr. [redacted] requested the termite damage be concealed with spackling.  It was not in the scope of our normal course of business.  Sometimes doing a courteous act  that is not included in the service comes back to bite us.  As an act of good will, we are willing increase our offer to a  $75.00 gift card to [redacted] OR any paint store of their choosing.  This should be enough to cover the cost of paint for the entire stair wall where the three small nail holes were repaired as well as the ceiling area with termite damage near the door that they were responsible for.  As far as the $75.00 bee treatment for the hive under the shed is concerned the cost of service was already greatly reduced and the job was completed professionally and without incident.  Unlike most of our competitors in the valley, we provide a 6 month warranty.  If they return to the same location, please invite Ms. [redacted] or Mr. [redacted] to call us.

- The pictures look accurate.  We thank Ms. [redacted] for providing them.  There were three repaired nail holes on the stairs which were painted with the paint PROVIDED BY THE CUSTOMER.  Since the customer cannot locate the correct paint, we will gladly repaint not just the three golf ball sized areas but the entire stair wall with whatever paint the customer requests.  - The same paint was used at the entry to cover the damage done by termite tubes AT THE REQUEST OF THE CUSTOMER: our company does not usually spackle holes created by termite damage but did so PER THE REQUEST OF THE CUSTOMER.  The customer was aware of the termite damage when they called us out for a free estimate in February yet chose to wait almost four months for treatment.  Mr. [redacted] was aware that patched holes would need to be painted if we foamed the walls.  We treated the wall from the garage side and WE DID NOT TREAT THE CEILING BY THE FRONT DOOR.  The technician patched the existing termite damage on the second visit because THE CUSTOMER REQUESTED IT BE DONE and [redacted] painted over it as a courtesy for Ms. [redacted] WITH HER CONSENT, because she was pregnant and upset and he had compassion for her. He did not know the paint she provided did not match and even painted cardboard before applying it to the wall to make sure Ms. [redacted] would be satisfied.  Additionally, he promised to call back and make sure it dried to the right color and offered to come out and repaint with a different paint if it didn't.  THE CUSTOMER DENIED THIS SOLUTION AND STATED SHE WOULD ONLY BE HAPPY WITH A FULL REFUND.- Since the entire [redacted] (walls and ceilings) was sprayed with a flat paint prior to Ms. [redacted]'s purchase of the home, we would like to offer to call the seller and find out the paint that was used so that an appropriate match can be made.- [redacted] did not ask about Ms. [redacted]'s pregnancy to be rude or inappropriate.  He is a father of six and has a grandchild on the way and thought finding common ground for conversation might help diffuse an otherwise volatile situation.  If Ms. [redacted] found it offensive we are sorry... It was not his intention. - The young man who drilled at the [redacted] is a part-time employee of Pest Patrol.  He is a hard working and conscientious employee.  Since he does not apply any products, it is not required that he be a licensed applicator.  If he left a drill bit on the premises, it was more than likely an oversight.  We would have come back out to dispose of it since it is not the customers responsibility.  We thank Ms. [redacted] for throwing it away and are sorry for the inconvenience of having to do so herself.  We will address the matter with each of our employees so it does not happen again at any jobsite. EVER.  - We are sorry the customer feels that "everything looks dirty and ruined and it wouldn't have happened" but IT WOULD NOT HAVE HAPPENED IF THE HOMEOWNERS HAD GIVEN US THE CORRECT PAINT.  Both the bee service and the termite service were completed properly with the initial application. OUR TECHNICIAN DID MISTAKENLY HIT A STUD after being called back out to foam at no additional charge.  Because of this, we properly repaired the wall as evidenced by the photos.- The only work which was left in an unsatisfactory state was the paint choice.  [redacted] guessed that might be an issue which is why he offered to come back out.  If Ms. [redacted] is not willing to allow [redacted] to correct it personally, we are happy to issue a $50.00 [redacted] gift card so she can pick out a more suitable color and better quality of paint with which to paint the entire wall.

On May 21, 2014 we had Pest Patrol out to our residence to service an ant problem. The technician ([redacted]) was very nice and very knowledgeable. He took the time to explain what and how he was going to proceed and even went into explaining the pesticides they use. Service was done promptly. It has only been 20 weeks since the service but so far results are good. I would recommend Pest Patrol to anyone looking for a prompt, reliable service.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.

To Whom It May Concern:This email is in response to complaint #[redacted] filed by [redacted].  I have owned and operated Pest Patrol since its inception in 1994.  In over twenty years, this is the first time I have experienced a customer service complaint to the Revdex.com....

Please allow me to explain the course of events from our perspective. In February of this year, we were called out to the [redacted] of Chis [redacted] (the name which this account is under) to do a termite inspection free of charge.  Although evidence of termites were found on the home, Mr. [redacted] made the decision not to treat at that time.  When the call came into the office regarding bees, one of our friendly office staff found the account listed under Mr. [redacted]'s name and made an offer to Ms. [redacted] over the phone: if she would like the [redacted] treated for bees at the same time as treating the termites, we would lower the original estimate for termites to $620.00.  This is an exceptional offer considering the fact that we use a top of the line product ([redacted]) and extend a free 5 year warranty with service.  The bee service was completed for a nominal $75.00 fee and a six month warranty was issued with this service.Ms. [redacted] stated that she needed to speak to her husband, Mr. [redacted].  She called back and scheduled the service as agreed.  On May 19th, the service technician completed the whole house service just as we do for every other customer who hires us for like services.  The following day, Mr. [redacted] called the office to say that (back in February), the technician said he would treat the ceiling near the door where termite tubes were coming out.  My office staff explained that foaming the wall is usually reserved for problems that are not resolved with the first application: treating leaves spackling areas that need to be touched up with paint.  Mr. [redacted] said they would paint and he wanted the service completed as "promised" back in February.  He was adamant that the technician should have remembered that conversation (from February) and was angry that he didn't do so.  To avoid customer dissatisfaction, an appointment was made for the following morning to render the requested services free of charge.  The technician returned less than 24 hours from the initial application to complete the foaming process.  This occurred on the 20th.The following morning, Ms. [redacted] called the office upset and complaining that there was still some activity where the bees had been treated.  Although this is not an unusual occurrence and sometimes rectifies itself, I scheduled an appointment to treat the problem and appease the customer.  My technician retreated the area the same day (5/21) for no charge. When Mr. [redacted] called the office on 5/22, he said that the technician had "drilled through his wall".  I explained that this would be an impossible thing to have happened since it is the slab of the house that is treated.  He demanded it be fixed the same day because Ms. [redacted] was having a party.  I delayed my plans to go out of town for the Memorial Weekend and I went directly to their home.  Upon inspection, I found that when my technician came out for the requested foaming of the walls from the garage, he inadvertently hit a stud which caused 3 nails to protrude on the staircase.  As a side note, the technician was never in this area of the [redacted] and would have had no way of knowing it had happened without seeing it (it is not something we have ever encountered on a jobsite).  Regardless of that, it DID happen and shouldn't have.  Because Ms. [redacted] wanted the repair immediately, I offered to go to [redacted], buy the necessary supplies, and fix it myself.  She said that was her preference.  I advised her that I could satisfactorily patch the wall but the paint would be difficult to match because the wall surrounding it was dirty but I would do my best to feather it in.  She said she really hated the paint because it couldn't be cleaned very well.  I told her it was because it was cheap, flat paint and she should consider using a higher sheen paint. After the repair had been made, Ms. [redacted] brought out three cans of paint to cover the repair.  I tested a bit on a piece of cardboard.  We let it dry and she and her dad approved the paint color as being the correct one.  After touching up the stair wall, I offered to paint the ceiling for her as well (which is absolutely not part of our service- which had been made clear to Mr. [redacted]- but we went the extra mile to appease the customer). When I left, both she and her father seemed pleased with the job I did.   I told her that I would call her on Tuesday (when I was back from vacation) to see how it dried and to make sure her husband was pleased with the job as well.  I did exactly as promised but got her message machine.  She called me back and demanded her money back.  She made threats to defame our business if we didn't refund her money in full. Unfortunately, this is not an option. We did a complete termite treatment with an expensive product at reduced cost to make it affordable in the first place.  We have paid our technician to do the initial termite treatment, to foam the wall as requested, and to retreat the bees.  I took personal time to repair the [redacted] and did not leave until the customer seemed satisfied.  Their bee service is warrantied for six months and their termite warranty is effective for 5 years. Because it seemed they could not afford the regular price for treatment, we discounted it to begin with.  I have even offered to come out and paint the entire stair wall free of charge.I vehemently dispute Ms. [redacted]'s claims to have "ruined everything they touched".  The complete termite job was done according to industry standards and the bee job was treated two times with nothing ruined and to customer satisfaction.  We were never responsible for painting the ceiling where the termite tubes had done damage but we did so as requested.  The ONLY thing done in error was the displacement of three nails which were completely repaired.  Mr. [redacted] knew that the ceiling would need to be painted after we treated.  Ms. [redacted] chose the paint that was put on the wall.  There was no "sloppy patchwork", just cheap paint.  There has been every opportunity to "make things right" but (as evidenced by the four consecutive, daily visits to their home) they are not willing to be satisfied.  The reason that "if I have one wall painted, the rest will have to be painted to match" is because it is a flat and inexpensive paint and the walls are marked with dirt from daily living.Ms. [redacted], I told you if you wanted to avoid this hassle you could get three estimates for painting the entire effected wall and I would chose one to do so.  You have created unnecessary stress on our office staff and business as a whole.  Since you have chosen to make unwarranted statements against our company, I am no longer willing to go out of my way for you.  It is clear you will not be pleased.  If you would like me to paint your wall, I will gladly do so.  I will not repaint your entire room.  That is excessive in every way.  Your warranty stands for both the termites and bees.  If you have any issues, please call and I will personally take care of arising issues myself.  We stand behind our service, our products and our warranty.  I am very sorry the stud was hit and very sorry you are still dissatisfied but I am very glad there was no permanent damage to your home.Sincerely,[redacted]   Pest Patrol - [redacted]) Mailing Address:[redacted]

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

I feel as though both parties (the Revdex.com and Pest Patrol) are not understanding the heart of my complaint. Yes, I do want to paint my wall to cover Pest Patrol's mistake, but that's not my main concern. I understand and appreciate Pest Patrol's willingness to pay for paint to correct the damage they've caused, but the reason I want my full refund is because I paid almost 700 dollars to have a 5 year warranty with this company. During the months that I did not have my [redacted] treated after Pest Patrol's quote, I was researching and getting quotes from other companies. I found plenty of other highly marked companies that were much more affordable than Pest Patrol, but it was their warranty that stuck with my husband and I and we ultimately decided to go with them. Termites are not a "one and done" type of thing. They usually come back, so we thought the warranty was a good idea. However, I don't want [redacted] or his company coming back to my [redacted] after my experience. I want my money back to void the warranty so I can go somewhere else. Yes, I can call a different company when the termites come back, but there's another 400-700 dollars I'll need to shell out and I'll have a pointless 5 year warranty floating around that I'm never going to use. I am also very upset with the blatant lies they're still telling. They keep saying they did everything "per request of the customer", but the truth is they OFFERED painting as a solution. I didn't ask for him to do it, but I did agree to let him try it out. I allowed him to try whatever he thought would work to correct the mistake they has made. I wanted to give the company a shot to make things right. However, the attitude and totally unsympathetic/condescending tone [redacted] took with my husband and I each time he spoke to us very much turned us off. Also, the wall damage done by the studs being hit was NOT done when they came out to foam my front door "free of charge" (which they did because it was previously OFFERED to us). The studs were hit when they first came out and treated everything. We just didn't notice until a couple of days later because we had so much going on personally. The sob story about [redacted] being a father of six, being genuinely interested in my pregnancy, and having the desire to help me makes me sick. He wasn't being kind, he was being sarcastic and rude because I threatened to report him. Another upsetting thing that he said was "it wouldn't have happened if I'd given him the correct paint". When I bought the house there were gallons and gallons of random paint left in the garage. We looked at them together and decided to try one we thought looked close. Again, I never would have had to "pick the wrong paint" and put it on my walls had they followed protocol and used the stud finder like they were supposed to, but I wanted to give him a chance. What it all boils down to is not the issue of paint. It's the issue of not wanting to ever have to be in contact with [redacted] or any member of his company ever again. I would like my refund so that I can go with a different company if need be. A $50 [redacted] gift card will not change my view of this company or make me trust them to come back out to my home. If they are still going to fight me on this, I will have to take further action and go to the Attorney General's office and report them to the Structural Pest Control Board.
