PESTCO has been servicing Vidor Apartments for Regular Pest Control services since 10/2009.   Vidor Apartments has had occasional issues with bed bugs over the years beginning in June 2012, in different units and those units have been serviced and bed bugs controlled...

in those units.  In July 2014 The Health Dept came into Vidor Apartments telling [redacted] that some of his units had to be treated for bed bugs. In July 2014 Vidor Apartments /[redacted] contracted service with PESTCO for treatment of Bed Bugs for 23 units, and service began on July 24.  The agreed contracted amount was for $10,350.00 plus tax ($450.00 per unit for 23 units) which Mr. [redacted] approved, his Manager signed and service began.   Due to tenant non-cooperation units had to be scheduled on different dates, and in some instances the Manager had to call the Constable to those units to insist that they be treated for Bed Bugs.   The units were treated, and follow-up inspections and treatments were also provided to the 23 units, even beyond our contractual obligations.   The final treatment was done on 09/08/14.  It was recommended to Vidor Apartments that they be on a Monthly Bed Bug Service for $500.00 per month to control any future bed bug issues.  After several attempts to contact Mr. [redacted] about the final payment, in October Mr. [redacted] spoke with [redacted] and asked to have the final payment split into 2 payments, which we accommodated Mr. [redacted]'s request.  He was to have the first payment of $1217.82 the following week and the remaining balance of $1217.81 the week after that.  The bed bugs continued to be a problem because also during this time occupants brought in furniture that were infested with bed bugs.  Those units were retreated at No Charge.   During this time of treatment [redacted] went out of the country for several weeks and could not be contacted.  He also was out of his office according to the managers dealing with personal issues beyond that time.   He also had 3 different apartment managers during this time which also made treatments difficult to schedule.  His apartment managers conveyed to us that they did not know how to get in touch with Mr. [redacted].  We had tried numerous times after final treatments to contact Mr. [redacted] but we were told he could not be reached.November 20, 2014 [redacted] called to say that she was the Head Apartment Manager and to send her the Invoices (these invoices had already been provided) and she would make sure they were paid.Payment for the Initial Service was to be paid before Regular Monthly Bed Bug Service could begin.  Regular Pest Control Service was also being provided on a monthly basis, when [redacted] called to let [redacted] know of the scheduled service, she was told by the Maintenance Man that Mr. [redacted] had gotten another pest control company.  PESTCO was never informed by [redacted] that he wanted to discontinue service.  [redacted] went by his office on that day to speak with him concerning this matter but he was not on property, apartment manager was not in office and new pest control company was there.  She was told by maintenance man that [redacted] was out on property and he gave me permission to go see her but she could not find her.  As she was leaving, the new pest control company's representative approached her and spoke to her in a cordial manner and stated that Mr. [redacted] had requested his services and that he felt assured that Mr. [redacted] would pay what was owed PESTCO, nothing more was discussed with the new company.   PESTCO NEVER DROVE BY VIDOR APARTMENT'S OFFICE AND CALLED OUT HIS APARTMENT MANAGERS NAME, threats or harrassments were NEVER made to the new pest control company.  [redacted] has refused to address the payment issue with PESTCO.PESTCO went above and beyond what was contracted with Vidor Apartments to provide them with excellent customer service.  There has NEVER been one complaint from Vidor Apartments or [redacted] to PESTCO at any time prior about our service. [redacted] even came into our office in September and we provided him at No Charge with gloves, booties and body suits so he could enter some of the units himself.  PESTCO has always gone above and beyond what is necessary to provide quality service to Vidor Apartments.   It was only when we requested final payment for the contracted services already provided that [redacted] began to avoid us.  The remaining balance for the contracted services provided that Mr. [redacted] agreed to is $2435.63. As per phone conversation with the business: I am requesting Mediation for possible resolution to this issue.
