Review: My son age 17 bought a dog from PAW with the cosigning of his girlfriends aunt. The contract stated no returns unless it is found the dog has a life threatening condition. 5 days after taking possession of the dog she had to be rushed to the vet and be treated for low blood sugar and a high white blood cell count. After retrieving her from vet she had to be rushed back within 30 mins due to the condition. We spent 91.50 the first visit and 51.50 the second. After calling the pet store we made arrangements for them to take her back and monitor her themselves. Her condition is life threatening due to she needs medication every two hours or she will die. They agreed to take the dog back and stop the financing of the purchase price but we are seeking reimbursements of the vet bills which I have copies of for the money spent on a dog that had a health guarantee. It was told to us they do not do reimbursements and we were out the vet bills plus the dog .Desired Settlement: Reimbursement for vet bills acquired while the dog was in our care for less than 10 days.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. When we returned the puppy to them a folder was given to the cashier/ associate with the contract agreement and all the vet bills which were itemized. I can get copies of the bills again if they have been misplaced. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.
