We have responded each and every time the customer has calledOften times, water leaks that occur ARE NOT necessarily roof leaksWhile we wish by installing a roof correctly, (ice and water shield, proper nailing, flashing, etc.) would solve any and all water issues that can come into a house, it
certainly is not the caseThere can be water issues with existing siding, brick, window frames etcIn this case, the water is not necessarily due to a workmanship flaw in the roofing installation and more likely in the existing brick workHomeowner has notified of this in the past, and has chosen not to do anything to fix the problemOn February 6, when the service crew was out at homeowner's address, there was snow, ice and frigid temperatures just like everywhere else in WNYThere is no way to properly inspect any possible roofing issues in this weatherBlack Rock Roofing will stand behind ROOFING workmanshipIf leaks are caused by other flaws, like bricks, we were not hired to fix those problemsWhen weather allows, we are willing to examine everything further.Regards, *** *** President Black Rock Roofing
With regard to complaint #[redacted] after multiple back and forth with customer and Revdex.com its obvious that we cannot satisfy this customer.We have been back out to this home several times already and customer refuses to accept that her problems are not roof related. As a resolution I have offered her a full refund in the amount of $3,000. She told me she will have to think about it. I don't know what more I can possibly do than return entire contract amount. My offer for a FULL refund will be voided if not accepted within 30 days of this letter. Thank you, David B.
Customer contacted my office on September 15,2014 for a job that was done in March of 2005.
He states in his complaint that mold was found when an inspection was done as part of the sale of his
home. The job is ten years old and mold may have been caused by many different scenarios.
I would ask...
the Revdex.com to remove this as a complaint as there is no valid way to determine the
cause or causes of this mold (ten years) after the fact.
Included is a copy of customer's satisfaction letter after the job was completed on March 3,
2005. The only time thereafter that we heard from this customer was September 15, 2014 with this
complaint.
