Pet Chef Express - Reno

Complaint[redacted] is a vendor at farmers market on saturdays, california/booth. He committed fraud, by taking 26.00 cash and saying I would recieve dog tags and I never did. I called him and asked him for a refund. He said he mailed a check, reno to reno on 7-14-15, I never recieved a check. I told him if I didn't recieve a check by Friday 7-17-15 I would report him to the police, he said go ahead. I am afraid, he has my address, phone number and he is working at the farmers market on Saturdays. I believe this is fraud and possibly someone who is gathering personal information for perhaps future problems. Please help. I think an alert needs to be put out on him for potential fraud and gathering of personal information for unknown reasons to me.Final Consumer Response I did receive another check that I cashed a week ago as a refund. Though we seemed to have verified the correct address I had given, the second time He asked what the address was it seems it was different and that is why the owner of the business said I never got my stuff. I have my refund now, but it was all very stressful to have gone through. I am not sure what happened in all this. Thank You for your concern
