I subtracted 2 stars for these reasons:
1. All other subscription services I use are kind enough to send a reminder in advance of the shipment so the customer can change the shipment date or add/delete items from the upcoming shipment. Petflow does not follow this proactive. I assume it is to ensure you do not cancel or change the ship date. What they should be doing is advising customers of the upcoming shipment and offer suggestions related to other things you may want to ADD to your delivery (Treats, shampoo, etc.). This way they are covering all the bases and the hope is everyone will be pleased as they can change dates if necessary AND/OR add items to the shipment. Hopefully the add one will offset the date changes and cancellations.
The job description on Glass Door for a Perflow Customer Service Agent describes how their performance in that job will be based on “Auto Ship cancellation SAVES”! So good luck trying to cancel your Auto-Ship account when the people who work there performance is based on doing everything they can to talk you out of canceling!
Which brings me to my second issue:
2. I would like to cancel my Auto-Ship program and now have to call and explain to them my dog has cancer. This is the last thing I feel like doing-getting permission from some poor pushy kid who’s trying to save his job by talking me out of cancelling. This is a horrible position to put me and your employee in.
