"I am truly sorry that you are apparently so dissatisfied with the service we tried to provide of your kitties while you and your wife were on vacation. Believe me when I say my only intention was to provide exceptional care for them,...

following the guidelines that you and I established during our several meetings prior to your departure arriving between a 1 hour window then to come to the visits between 10 to 12 hour window, to allow you to have a worry-free vacation. Also that I would be the care provider 90 percent of the time, since we have trained professional on our team. I feel confident that during these meetings (even brought 2 of my staff with me during these meeting to play is safe), we developed an understanding and realistic expectations of how the kitties would be looked after in your absence- they would receive the best possible care and attention. Sadly, as you are both well aware, while I can absolutely that during my tenure there, "[redacted] (diabetic cat)" received lots of love and attention, and always got his blood sugar checked and insulin delivered on time (as an RVT, I am well aware of the importance of this),"[redacted]" the healthy kitty is quite difficult (I am pretty sure that some of the blood in that photo is mine, as he got quite vicious with me and injured me (5 bites with hawk gloves even, in spite of my attempts to calm him and avoid conflict). I believe this is why you have had previous difficulties with 4 other pet sitters who fired you during your prior trips, and why you and I agreed to terminate our relationship during your vacation. Per our discussions while you were away, I arranged for 'diabetic cat' to be cared for at "VCA Ford Foundation", and you arranged for "vicious cat' to be cared for by another pet sitter. I can guarantee you that during my time looking after them, [redacted] the "diabetic cat' got his treatments per schedule (you may be able to verify this with your security cameras), "vicious cat' was never locked in a room, and when I last saw him, he was not injured in any way. I am truly sad to hear that he needed care upon your return, and hope that he is now returned to 100% health. Again, please accept my apologies for any disappointment you feel, and I wish you the best of luck."-- [redacted], RVT

Review: Pet n' Vet owner [redacted] is a registered vet tech (RVT). We contracted with him to provide home RVT care visits twice daily to our diabetic cat and feed our other healthy cat while we were on an 8 day vacation out of country. [redacted] was to arrive at appointed time windows to ensure insulin was delivered close to every 12 hours to diabetic cat. He was chronically late for every single visits, once as late as over 2 hours. Without our approval, he also allowed a non-RVT to access our home, take blood glucose readings, and give insulin shots to our diabetic cat without his or another RVT present. He shut our healthy cat in a room and left him for a long enough period of time to allow it to literally pull out several of his claws trying to escape the room he was locked in. Further, despite the locked up cat's blood all over the room and door, he neglected to inform us of any medical issue or give any medical care to the clearly injured cat. By the time we returned home, the cat with claws missing now has an infection and needs several weeks of medical care.Desired Settlement: At a minimum, we want a full refund for Pet n' Vet "services". We had to pay in full for all 8 days prior to leaving for vacation, over $700. We further have over $500 of vet bills so far to treat our injured cat with infection as he left untreated.
