following the guidelines that you and I established during our several meetings prior to your departure arriving between a hour window then to come to the visits between to hour window, to allow you to have a worry-free vacationAlso that I would be the care provider percent of the time, since we have trained professional on our teamI feel confident that during these meetings (even brought of my staff with me during these meeting to play is safe), we developed an understanding and realistic expectations of how the kitties would be looked after in your absence- they would receive the best possible care and attentionSadly, as you are both well aware, while I can absolutely that during my tenure there, "*** (diabetic cat)" received lots of love and attention, and always got his blood sugar checked and insulin delivered on time (as an RVT, I am well aware of the importance of this),"***" the healthy kitty is quite difficult (I am pretty sure that some of the blood in that photo is mine, as he got quite vicious with me and injured me (bites with hawk gloves even, in spite of my attempts to calm him and avoid conflict)I believe this is why you have had previous difficulties with other pet sitters who fired you during your prior trips, and why you and I agreed to terminate our relationship during your vacationPer our discussions while you were away, I arranged for 'diabetic cat' to be cared for at "VCA Ford Foundation", and you arranged for "vicious cat' to be cared for by another pet sitterI can guarantee you that during my time looking after them, *** the "diabetic cat' got his treatments per schedule (you may be able to verify this with your security cameras), "vicious cat' was never locked in a room, and when I last saw him, he was not injured in any wayI am truly sad to hear that he needed care upon your return, and hope that he is now returned to 100% healthAgain, please accept my apologies for any disappointment you feel, and I wish you the best of luck."-- *** ***, RVT

The response denies any accountability for lack of service and negligence. It is a misleading and untruthful response. And finally, it does not address whatsoever the reimbursement costs that are needed.
