After moving to the Auburn area we did extensive research on choosing a doggie daycare for our small dog, who has severe separation anxietyAfter visiting Pet Palace, they told us the dogs stay in a large playroom all day (with dogs of similar size) and have periodic potty breaksThe first days we picked up our dog, she was covered in fecal matterNevertheless, we gave Pet Palace another chanceYesterday we picked her up and her face was swollen with hives; she couldn't open one eye and had more than spots swollen on her face and mouthI never got a phone call while she was there and the employee who brought Evie out for pick up never mentioned her faceShe claimed "I didn't even notice" when she put the harness over the dog's faceWhen we asked for an explanation, a back of house worker told us "When I checked the kennel water bowl about hours ago, she looked fine." OutrageousNot only do the dogs not play in a playroom as advertised and promised, they are kept in a metal cage and released for 1-hours of playroom and potty break per dayWe have never felt more betrayedOur dog was kept confined all day and they offered no explanation for the hives besides "All our products are pet friendly." If anyone values the well being of their pet, they will not choose this business

The first 2 days we picked up our dog, she was covered in fecal matter. Nevertheless, we gave Pet Palace another chance. Yesterday we picked her up and her face was swollen with hives; she couldn't open one eye and had more than 15 spots swollen on her face and mouth. I never got a phone call while she was there and the employee who brought Evie out for pick up never mentioned her face. She claimed "I didn't even notice" when she put the harness over the dog's face.
When we asked for an explanation, a back of house worker told us "When I checked the kennel water bowl about 2 hours ago, she looked fine." Outrageous. Not only do the dogs not play in a playroom as advertised and promised, they are kept in a metal cage and released for 1-2 hours of playroom and potty break per day.
We have never felt more betrayed. Our dog was kept confined all day and they offered no explanation for the hives besides "All our products are pet friendly." If anyone values the well being of their pet, they will not choose this business.
