Review: I bought a ferret and everything that he came with for over 300 dollars about 12 days ago. I have never owned one but I know a lot about them. That night I broke out in hives and my eyes had swollen shut , which I then discovered I was highly allergic to the ferret. So I proceeded to call the next morning asking them if they would take it back and their response to me was " the animal has a 7 day return policy only if it is sick." So then their suggestion to me was that I take it to the humane society which the owner said was "low kill". So quite obviously their animals are just sales and they have no compassion for the well being of the animal. So I kept the ferret and posted an ad on Craigslist to have him re homed since I was not willing to send him to his potential death. Then 5 days later I call the owner again because they ferrets colon had completely came out of his but (prolapse.) As I began to explain to him the issue he told me that I could speak to one of their managers and then possibly return it to the store. I proceeded to remind him that I was the customer that had bought the ferret and was then allergic to it . He then told me it was 7 days for me and withdrew his offer to return the sick animal. After I asked him why he told me that I was sneaky and when I asked him if he didn't believe me I would bring him by the store he told me that he shouldn't be talking to him because I was being sneaky...so after he hung up on me, he called back and them told me that [redacted] the company which breeds them offers a one year warranty which was what I was told when I bought him but what they failed to inform me is that it is only on congenital disorders does not cover absolutely anything else other than birth defects. Despite being allergic I changed the ferrets food and water and cage EVERYDAY and he still got sick, so quote obviously it is the stores product. The were extremely uncooperative and rude. They by no means tried to resolve the issue.Desired Settlement: refund for the ferret and his supplies
