WE have two German Shepherds and started with invisible electric fence for 3 years. But older male started crashing through and scaring people. Because we need 200' feet, traditional fencing was too expensive and ugly. so decided to got with petplaygrounds.com flex fencing. love the portability, able to move and reshape containment area. material is beautiful and almost invisible. blends with wooded and shaded area.

my dogs are not aggressive and do not jump on fence so it contains very nicely. we get high winds off the lake 60-70 mph which is no problem, due to flexibility and thin mesh. Solid fences would blow down.

The installation is complicated and the install video doesn't due justice. Good marketing but not realistic. it took me one day just to sort out the parts. Had to contact support many times to clarify. Victor was was very quick to respond. Then it took about 2+ weeks to install and im very handy and installed many conventional fences. I used the metal sleeves to support post due to portability and that complicates the install. I watched the install video many times bc it goes too fast and not very detailed. The gates come in pieces and you have to assemble. took at least 1/2 day for 6 foot gate. Miraculously they did send all the parts (many pieces). The hog rings do secure the fencing to wire but not very strong. They provided 98% of tools needed. Many steps and unique parts to install. I would guess most fence installers would not find this fencing profitable...too complicated and time consuming.

overall I like the fencing. blends nicely with environment and contains my dogs.

I had a pet playground installed in last summer and it was not installed correctly It is not functional and the purpose of this was a place for my dogs to run safely I have contacted pet playground repeatedly requesting the fence and gate be repaired and have been told repeatedly that an installer would call me and be out to repair the fence and gate but have never contacted I filed a complaint directly by calling the company and was never contacted regarding my complaint I have multiple emails from "Vinny T [redacted] " stating an installer would contact me and when no one contacts me he again sends the same email I have all the email correspondence I feel that the customer service of this company is very lacking once they have sold and installed this substandard product I would like assistance in resolving this issueThank you

WE purchased a fence from pet playgrounds for over $for linear feetWe were told that for an additional $a "certified installer" from the handyman matters chain would come to install itThe day of installation an amazing worker came outHe had no awareness of any such product or installationThey were not a certified installer of pet playgrounds and in fact had never heard of them...It took him over three days to complete the jobHe was very patient, and a very hard workerThis company is selling another companies invisible deer fence and for over twice what they are askingThe fence doesn't hold up to our pound dog, she has knocked the flimsy gate off twice, killed a neighbors chicken, and lord only knows what elseWe have contacted this company over times, never once received a call back...this company is dishonest and deceitfulBuyer bewareYou could purchase an identical fence from [redacted] 's deer fencing for a third of the price (and someone would probably answer the phone)

I have looked for lots of solutionsAt first I wanted to get something cheapSo I got an electrical invisible fenceIt worked for a few months but then all of the sudden my dog, Nelson keeping running right through itI got a quote for a chain link fence and I it was $18/linear footI used Pet Playgrounds build your kit tool on their website and I was able to order my kit and an installer in one shotI paid about $13/linear feet fort my kit and the installA guy came, his name was Rafe and he installed my foot kit and gateI'm very happyThe best thing is now I can have puppy play datesI'm not limited to only inviting dogs with the same frequency collarI can have ANY dog come and play with me & Nelson

We're going on our third year & second hurricaneIt survived two hurricanes fairly wellLast year Hurricane Matthew blew down most of the fences on Merritt Island, it was the land of fallen down fencesBecause of the flexibility of the fence it handles wind pretty goodWood feces just blow away Hurricane Irma; One side blew down We were very lucky Many people suffered severe damageRoofs, flooding, ectWe were so lucky we didn't get damage that severeAs a side note, don't try to ride out a category hurricane that was so scaryNever againIn area prone to hurricanes & tropical depressions & severe weather( storms with no names) , it may not last as long, but still a better option than woodLots of the new wood fences from last year didn't make it through IrmaVery thankful for this fence & would purchase it again

The initial local installer that installed her kit made a mistake when the gate was installed and unfortunately is no long responsive despite trying to contact him several timesPlease note that the customer paid Pet Playgrounds for the materials only, and installation was paid to our 3rd party
installerWe are attempting to find another installer for her and cover the expenses ourselves, however it has taken longer than typical because of the rural location the customer happens to live in which is - hours from every local installerWe are still attempting to fix the issue, however again it is taking longer than expected to find someone qualified enough

I do not accept the response from Pet Playgrounds. My response to them is as follows.   I do not accept your resolution. You are not listening to what I am telling you. The dogs did not CHEW threw the fence, the fence ripped after only using it for approx 5 months.    I explained in my original complaint that I purchased the fencing system recommended by your companies representative. Victor told me that only he or his brother recommend products to their clients. This was confirmed as a lie when another call was placed to your business and was answered by a female. The same information we gave prior to purchasing your fence regarding our dogs and the area we wished to fence were given to her. She recommended the same fence that we already purchased. We even asked her if she thought we needed the stronger, taller fence and she told us that [redacted]re not known for climbing and that the 5ft. fence would be fine. Obviously it was not. You need to stop talking in circles and listen to what I am telling you. Admit that your company is  the one in the wrong......NOT ME! Stand behind your product.

He had no awareness of any such product or installation. They were not a certified installer of pet playgrounds and in fact had never heard of them...It took him over three days to complete the job. He was very patient, and a very hard worker. This company is selling another companies invisible deer fence and for over twice what they are asking. The fence doesn't hold up to our 70 pound dog, she has knocked the flimsy gate off twice, killed a neighbors chicken, and lord only knows what else. We have contacted this company over 20 times, never once received a call back...this company is dishonest and deceitful. Buyer beware... You could purchase an identical fence from [redacted]'s deer fencing for a third of the price (and someone would probably answer the phone)
