The landscaper and we met, and we told him our plan by drawing and explaining it. We also told
him that we wanted the same things that our next neighbor had. He worked on a quote and the
charge was $5300.

We asked him to cut down $300, thereby leading to a total of $5,000. He accepted our request.

Even though his contract did not include any detailed information or itemized estimate, or any notice of warranty, we made a check out to him. We did it only because we had two great experiences in thumbtack.com as you can see our two transactions in the web site.

It was $3000. We wanted to add some more boxwoods and mulch and he said that the charge
would be $220 more.

He brought arborvitae restocking fees of what he brought over. He took them back.
He asked us to make another check out to him. We wrote a check, which was $1,220.
5/31/2018 boxwoods over to work and planted them. Later we saw them and realized the sizes of them were very small again. They did not look like our neighbor's again. He said we would
need to pay more for bigger ones. In addition, he brought over and put black mulch even though we told him we wanted brown mulch.

We decided to stop working with him since we lost our trust in him. We paid a total of $4,220
until that time. We told him to charge us for his labor and three arborvitaes that he planted and to
give us a refund check. We also told him to give us all the details for the check.

His check came in the mail. It was a $1,322.50 check. He did not provide any detailed
information of why he charged us $2,897.50 (4,220-1,322.50). This was a very unreasonable amount. We decided to take legal actions.

We asked another landscaping company to come and make a quote to complete our yard work.
We also asked the agent how much Petal Pushers should have charged us. His estimation amounted to $500 as evidenced by what I will attach to the email that I will send you after this message. We would like to receive
$2,397.50 (2,897.50-500).

We called Petal Pushers to talk to let him know that the amount was unreasonable and we would
take some legal actions, but he hung up on our call in 30 seconds. We called him right away, but he did not answer it.

We sent the above writing to him. He replied "I will be putting a mechanics lean on your house now".
