I have reviewed his response once more and find his complaint to be unjust, he did not ask for his front end to be rebuilt, he asked for the front end to be checked and upon our finding had us replace what was wrong, which we did.We at Meineke do not and will not ever recommend replacing a part that isn't bad, we are an honest company and stand by our decision.Thankyou Thomas [redacted] Manager Meineke Car Care Center

I have read Meineke's response. Evidently this man does not understand what I asked them to do originally and that was to rebuild my front end on the truckWhether one ball joint was bad or not, rebuild the whole front end. Example: If I asked you to do a complete brake job, although one brake is good, and three are bad; would you not replace the good brake for it would probably go bad soon? You cannot repair the bad and leave one that is good, because soon the one that you did not repair will be faulty. That is why I asked them to repair everything, although one was good, repair it anyway since everything is new. As far as his discount, he could have taken that and fix the other ball joint. I still would have paid for it because I asked you to repair everything including brake repair. Regards,

Why I am looking at an invoice from year ago is beyond me. I don't see what that has to do with the situation. I called Meineke recently and they said they had my wheel cover and I could come in and pick it up when I was ready. It looks like they are not being honest. Perhaps I will need to escalate the matter further. I also have an attorney.

** *** IS MAKING STATEMENTS IF YOU LOOK AT THE ENCLOSED ESTIMATE AND THE RECEIPT THEY BOTH STATE ONE BALL JOINT NOT TWO, AND HE WAS VERY AWARE OF THAT HE SIGNED BOTH THE ESTIMATE AND THE RECEIPT, WE CANT HELP THAT SIX MONTHS LATER HE HAS ANOTHER BALL JOINT GO BAD, ALSO IF THE BEARINGS WERE
NOT PACKED WITH GREASE THEY WOULD HAVE GONE BAD IN DAYS NOT MONTHS,WE TRIED OUR BEST TO MAKE CUSTOMER UNDERSTAND BUT TO NO AVAIL.HIS BALL JOINT AND WHEEL BEARINGS ARE ORIGINAL EQUIPMENTAND ARE SUBJECT TO FAIL AFTER ALL IT HAS 111,MILES ON IT AND IS YEARS OLD.AT THIS TIME IF ** *** WANTS TI-1SES REPAIRS MADE WE WILL BE GLAD TO DO THE REPAIRS AT A FAIR PRICE.THANK YOU,TOM PS: WE GAVE THIS MAN SEVERAL DISCOUNTS, AND ALSO LOANED HIM A CAR WHILE WE DID HIS REPAIRS

Attached you will find a copy of invoice #*** On that invoice we performed a basic oil change which consists of oil and filter and a point safety inspection on brakes, front end parts, exhaust We also gave this customer a free diagnostic test which should have him $
As you can see Mr*** declined the needed repairs, proof indeed he received a free diagnostic.Then on invoice #***, Mr*** came back in for another basic oil change which as stated only comes with oil and filter We do not remove wheels on a basic oil change nor do we run a diagnostic, we can onlyassume Mr*** lost his hub cap prior to coming here.If Mr*** wants a diagnostic test ran on his vehicle again we will be happy to do so at a cost of $89.99Thank YouThomas L***Meineke Car Care Center Manager

I have conferred with my shop Manager Tom L[redacted] on this matter at length several times. We in fact resolved a credit card charge back issue in our favor recently pertaining to this very incident.We at Meineke shop 704 regard our good reputation and relationship with our good...

customers as the most valued and important asset that we control. Unfortunately this does not mitigate the occasional unfortunate mistake or misstep on the part of a technician or the unreasonable demands or expectations of an abusive customer.As per the documents provided herein we installed an outer tie rod end and a hub style wheel bearing assembly on this vehicle. We have subsequently had the vehicle back in for reinspection and find no defects pertaining to these installations. We at Meineke provide a 90 day part and labor warranty and we unflinchingly back this up nationwide.This vehicle returned several weeks after service with an additional issue of vibration. it was determined that the recommendation would be suspension renewal. This vehicle when in for the initial service had over 120 thousand miles on it. It is reasonable to conclude that It will need upcoming additional repair services.We are happy to revisit this customers vehicle at no charge and diagnose and recommend service or repair at no obligation. The customer is free to take our recommendation to another facility for service.We certainly find no grounds for refund. We in fact are in the dark as to the expectation.Please note we have 9 service visits in 2 years on file with Miss [redacted].
