Dear Sirs: This letter is in response to the complaint #*** filed on 11/22/ We were hired as the Florist and Day of Coordination service for The client’s Wedding on September 17,2016. The client did not request any purple in her bouquet the contract stated only pale
pinksShe was provided with a copy of the contract for her review and did not choose to make any changesSee attached contract. I am attaching a photo of her bouquet which she paid $forI personally added some light purple because the wedding colors contained the purple and it looked more balanced. She was very satisfied with the bouquet when presented with it so I was surprised to receive this mentionWe were also hired for her Day of Coordination Services. Our services included the rehearsal and the wedding. The client wanted us to steam all her linens that she had purchased and set all of her tables on Thursday three days before the weddingThis is not part of our services and when told that it would require an extra charge for the time she baulked and decided to handle it herselfAt no time were we in charge of the centerpieces she created them herselfWe did however set them, turn on the light and light the candles for her the day of the wedding As to her timeline, we present timelines the Monday of the week of the eventThis was not satisfactory to her and she took it upon herself to create one on her ownWe used her timeline with the specific times she wantedI did speak to her about the fact that she was not allowing enough time for a receiving line, photos and other specificsShe wished to proceed with her own agendaOur contract clearly states that if at any time the client impedes our ability to do our job we are not responsible for the outcome Finally, to address the accusations about food being thrown away and clean upThis is simply false. The client hired a caterer that simply brought the food served it and cleaned up the debris from dinner. The caterer did not stay to clean up cups and other debris but left immediately after dinnerWe began removing dirty glasses and garbage from the tables shortly after 9:p.mas is our standard practice when you have not paid for catering staff to clear your tablesThe caterer packed what little food was left in foam containers and placed it in the refrigerator. The caterer had no extra containers to place cake in so we used what was left from the cookies that were eatenThe baker left one box for the cake top and it was placed in that box unharmedWe are not responsible for what may have happened to if after it left the wedding venueWe packed all of the cookies that were uneaten as well All of the food and cake was removed by her Fath-Law as per her request. I personally returned the silver stand and wood base from the cake to the baker on Monday morning as The client requested as she was leaving for her honeymoon We also cleared all tables after the event packing up all of her miscellaneous items, i.ecandy table, guest book, cake knife etc. Including removing all the tablecloths, napkins and overlays placing them in bags for her to pick up at a later time In conclusion, we have been servicing brides in the Pittsburgh area for over years. We pride ourselves on excellent service and follow thru. We are sorry that Ms*** was unhappy however we bent over backwards to meet her unrealistic expectations. We provided hours of time for rehearsal set up and travel time on Friday, Hours on site the Day of the Event and hours of travel time to and from the venue. In addition to three working meetings plus travel timeA total in excess of hours of personal one on one attention plus unlimited phone access. We fulfilled all of our contractual obligations over and about what is usual and custom. Again our sincerest apologies for her unhappiness
