Ma***, January 5, Vehicle was impounded by the Paso Robles PD on 12/10/Owner came to impound yard on 12/13/and obtained personal property and was informed of the current charges and that additional charges would accrue at the rate of $per dayShe was also informed that she needed to obtain a release from the Paso Robles PDShe stated at that time she planned to raise the moneyDuring the next approximate days she made numerous calls to both our office and our afterhours dispatchThis included having her friend’s call, one even impersonating an attorneyShe had been asked not to continue calling12/17/@ 2:21pm: She called weekend dispatch and wanted to get vehicle out of impound, driver advised dispatch she needed to get release from PRPD12/17/@ 7:40pm: Owner called weekend dispatch advising she had PD releaseDriver advised nighttime dispatch that total amount due at that time was $950.00(tow $240, Lien $70, storage $and $gate fee)Owner refused to pay12/17/@ approximately 10.38pm she requested to get her vehicle out, henceforth we dispatched a driver to accommodate herHowever when he met her at she did not have the moneyNor did she have an individual with a valid credit cardAt that time owner stated she did not know that the vehicle had been towed, but she had been in yard approximately days earlier to retrieve personal propertyAgain, refused to pay for and pickup vehicle 12/18/16: Someone claiming to be her father called stating he would pay for vehicleHe was informed he had to be present with credit card and valid IDNothing further was heardI have included a log and summary of the most of the calls As of this date total fees incurred are $In order to mitigate Ms Macathur claim I will abate further storage charges if the vehicle is paid in full, cash, certified check or authorized credit card with card holder present by 4pm Monday January 9, Should you have any questions please call me Thank you P*** *** ###-###-####
