Review: [redacted] was given a job to convert one apartment from a cold water flat to baseboard heating as well as one apartment split the heating from a commercial unit to a residential unit. Mr. [redacted] has been claiming that the work would be done time and time again. Over 50% of the payment was made per his schedule which is in excess of $12,000. The work has not been completed and it is now 4 months since the project started. One apartment, which has tenants, does not have any working heat because all lines have been cut off and no new installation of equipment has been put in place. The apartment that is currently occupied also has various pipes exposed and wiring that is not capped properly. The vacant cold water flat also requires promised appliances which have not been installed. None of the work was permitted which may result in heavy fines by the city. Complaints by commercial tenants have also occurred because of work that was not properly diagnosed in the building causing several thousands of dollars in damage. In that instance, a pipe in one of the apartments was cracked. The pipe was near a tub and toilet. A full replacement of the pipes was required. This had to be taken care of despite several weeks of attempting Mr. [redacted] and his team to come back to diagnose and correct the issue.

Despite sending several legal correspondences to the firm as the buildings ownership changed in August, Mr [redacted] and his team has not completed the heating and plumbing work agreed upon in a timely manner and to the extent for which he was paid. Mr. [redacted] has been negligent in not responding to the owners of [redacted] despite being customers for 10+ years. Our financial obligations have been met but his work has not been completed.Desired Settlement: We fully expect Mr. [redacted] to return a call to the owner, [redacted]as well as a response to the lawyer, [redacted]. Furthermore, we would like Mr. [redacted] to complete all work in the next week or refund us for the work not completed but already paid for. Non response to the owners and/or non completion of work will result in a lawsuit in the amount of already paid to [redacted] Plumbing and Heating. Additionally, all legal expenses and additional costs associated with permitting, tenant care, and excess utility charges will be included as part of the lawsuit. A response is required immediately.
