I am sorry that the customer is not happy with our serviceI am acquainted with this situation, and would like to offer the following: This job was being handled by phone with the customer's daughter with whom I spoke with yesterday morning, she explained that the plumbing problem at her parent's home was an ongoing stoppage in their kitchen sink Our supervisor spoke with her on the phone and was informed that the problem is at least months oldUpon inspection, it was determined that the stoppage was from corrosion in the pipe itselfThe only remedy was to change the entire pipe, faucet and fittingsShe was quoted $for this job Customarily we charge a $service charge for the service call which is waived in the event that we do the work Our supervisor again spoke with the customer with regards to the plumbing issuesNO SERVICE CHARGE WAS PAID FOR THIS VISIT AND SUBSEQUENT PHONE CONVERSATIONS WITH THE CUSTOMER'S DAUGHTER We would certainly under the circumstances refund the entire service charge had we collected it in the first place At Pete's Plumbing we strive to give excellent customer service and superior work performance We regret this misunderstanding and would be happy to speak further with the customer
