Pete's Towing Reviews (3)

This letter is in response to a complaint that has been filed against Pete’s Towing. [redacted] car was involved in an accident on 8/31/17 after normal business hours. We were notified by the [redacted] to respond to an accident that involved [redacted] vehicle, which was at fault. The... driver of the vehicle did not have the money to pay for the tow and the dealership that he wanted to go to was closed. We instructed the driver of the vehicle to contact his insurance company and inform them that his vehicle was being stored at Pete’s Towing, which is a normal procedure when a vehicle is involved in a crash. He was given a business card by our driver as we do all customers if they are present at the scene. Almost a week passed before we received a phone call from [redacted] inquiring as to where his vehicle was. He stated he wanted us to take it to [redacted] Mazda, which we did. He referred to us as trying to make a quick buck from his insurance company, but that is standard procedure that every company does. We have to get paid for services rendered. There is nothing quick about it. That being said, if he has full coverage insurance like he claims then he would not have had to pay anything out of pocket. It seems to me that he may be trying to commit insurance fraud by having his insurance pay the bill and then our company reimburse him money that he did not have to pay out of pocket. We take pride in running an honest business. Desired Settlement: The BBB should contact *** and explain that when services are rendered, payment is expected before the vehicle will be released. [redacted] contacted the [redacted] to file a complaint and at that point the sergeant explained to him what the procedure was and that did not satisfy him so he bashed our company on social media with lies, *** along with his friends and relatives. He then contacted your agency to file a complaint. All we expect is to get paid for our services, which we did in good faith.

The truck operator damaged my vehicle.\r\nThe company said they would repair it and collect the cost from the employeeA few days later they called and asked me to file with icbc insteadThe driver now says he didnt do the damage and is not being accountable for the damages.I was also charged for recovery and a tow when I only had a recoveryBe sure to have a flshlight and take pictures befor and after any tow services
