My technician [redacted] and assistant[redacted] were prompt. [redacted] diagnosed the problem immediately- the pilot light on our water hater would not stay on. Instead of asking me to call GE and go through the pace to get a new part, he called in the model number himself and got GE to order a new part. It is arriving tomorrow. The part and all all labor is under a two year warranty. [redacted] did all of this in about 20 minutes.
This was excellent service.

I am very happy with his work and from Peter Levi Plumbing in general. [redacted] is an excellent plumber and advised me well. He is also a harder worker, neat, and very likable. Apprentice [redacted] worked with [redacted] on the water leak repair and he was equally impressive at this early stage in his career.

send out the part if we did not have the part. Our technician had given you the option to replace the part under warranty. You declined replacing the part and had told him that you were unhappy with the water heater that you had and that you would like a 50 gallon water heater installed. Ryan gave you the price for the 50 gallon water heater and you agreed to have a new one installed. I'm sorry you are unhappy with the service but we have done everything to help you.

I still have not received an itemized invoice from [redacted]. According to the California Contractors State License Board, a consumer can request and expect to receive an itemized invoice. [redacted] has GPS transponders on their trucks. I would like an accounting for time and per hour rate, list of materials including the water heater, cost of their warranty, and any other line items which will account for the $2200 total.
If there is a recording of my phone call to the [redacted] dispatcher, it is not clear to me that was made in accordance with California law. I would like a copy of this recording for my review.
[redacted]'s accounting of my conversation with the technician is not correct. I stand by my original wording in this complaint. I will comment further once I have listened to the dispatcher's recording and I have seen the itemized invoice.

An itemized invoice should include the cost of the water heater, cost of the warranty, number of hours with an hourly rate and any parts needed for the job. So far all the invoices provided by [redacted] have just the total. These are not "itemized" invoices.
Not only did we get an excellent response from their office concerning our plumbing emergency but the excellent service work performed by [redacted] was outstanding. They are fortunate to have service personnel like [redacted].
