I am rejecting this response because: On March 23,when I told *** that we were not going to use his services he said that he would " Mail me a check, no problem"On March 23, *** left me a Voice mail saying he could send me a check on Monday (27th)On March 24, *** texted me and said " he mailed the check."On March 30th, *** texted me and said "He was getting a check at the bank tomorrow "On April 7th, I received an email from Pete Palombo that said and I quote "A check is being mailed today for your refund of $1000.00"On April 17th I received an email from *** saying that his company does not use check and that he was going to have the bank send me a "Cashiers Check"That is SEPARATE times in writing that *** told me he sent the check Yes, I am annoyed and I am sure that is reflected in my voice when I speak to *** I would be happy to work this out with *** but first he has to stop lying to me I can give him to the end of business on Friday the 21st to hand deliver the check or I will have to protect my self and involve the courts and a lawyer.

Dear Revdex.com,I was asked to do a subdivision plat on [redacted] in [redacted] by [redacted], her and her husband Bill are goodclients and I have done 2 or 3 surveys for them.I met them onsite at their request to measure the interior division wall on a house/property they are developing [redacted]...

[redacted]They agreed to give me the 50% deposit on the survey and municipal review follow up cost of $2000, they gave me the check that morning after I did the survey of the interior wall and was leaving, the check was for $1000.I deposited the check in the business account at TCF bank which is just down the street from the jobsite, the check was not cashed,it was made out to Tripod Geometrics Surveying LLC.I received a text from Lorraine later that afternoon asking that I cancel the job and refund the deposit.I told them I would be happy to refund the deposit but that I was unable to give the check back right away which was already deposited.I informed them that a refund check would have to be issued from us to them for the full $1000.Lorraine became very rude and impatient with this and began to threaten collection action.I remained polite and assured them the refund was on it's way in the form of a refund check fromTripod Geometrics Surveying LLC. It should be there this week or early next week.I did perform field survey work on site and some of the drafting on the plat before I received the text to cancelbut I do value their business and this is why I am refunding the deposit despite the fact that I invested 3 hoursfield time and 4 hours drafting on the project. I always do my best to make my clients happy and I have alotof happy clients as a result. Please re assure the Whelans' that their refund is on it's way, they don't seem to believe me,although I have reassured them of this for the past 3 weeks, they continue to bombard my phone with threats andnasty messages, she even said I live "hand to mouth" because I was unable to give her a cash refund immediately.Thank you,[redacted]
