Peter Pan Bus Lines Reviews (4)

DO NOT USE THIS BUS! Entire terminal in New York is Greyhound and we were told the wrong gate three timesAlthough arriving an hour early, we were last to boardNo employees are wearing even a Peter Pan shirt, all have extremely poor attitudes and a young lady of about or was at the door trying to get out the whole bus alerted the driver, we had not even put it in reverse and backed up, he said, she's late, she will have to get the next bus, put it in reverse and continued on! I tried to plea with him that there had been a great deal of misinformation and he just continued on! Poor, poor customer service!

My wife and I purchased Priority Boarding tickets for New York to Philadelphia in Decbecause we are seniorsAs directed by Greyhound, we arrived at Gate in New York's Port Authority Bus Terminal at 8:30am for 8:40am boardingWe were the first on the priority boarding linePeter Pan was the bus line that Greyhound assigned for this tripOne of the drivers opened the gate door and came outMy wife and I assumed we were going to boardWe took one step towards him, holding our ticketsHe took great offense at thisIn his loudest voice, so that all the 100+ people waiting to board could hear, he shouted, "YOU WILL NOT BUM-RUSH ME! I AM NOT GOING TO BE BUM-RUSHED! WE'RE NOT GOING ANYWHERE YET!" and he slid the door closed behind himThe driver then launched into a loud, condescending tiradeHe referred to my wife and I by saying that everyone on this trip must board the bus in a quiet, orderly fashion, that everyone is either going to get to their destination safely or is going to the hereafterWas this a threat that something was going to happen to my wife and I for merely offering him our tickets? It was obvious that he was trying to embarrass and humiliate two seniors who were obviously no physical threat to him in front of an audience of 100+ people waiting to boardThe bus was at this point minutes late to board; his intention, I imagine, was to persuade the crowd that this was our faultThankfully, no one took any actions against usWhen he finally opened the door and began boarding, I told him that I thought that what he said to my wife and I was inappropriateHe raised his voice again and said, "Am I going to have a problem with you?" and sharply and repeatedly told us to board the bus next to his, which had a female bus driverWhen we boarded the second bus, the female driver was sitting in the front passenger seatI asked her for the name of the first driverShe replied, "Why do you want it?" I said, "I want to file a complaint about him." She replied, "Why don't you ask him yourself?" At this point we were upset enoughWe just wanted to get to Philadelphia and did not want to risk another confrontation with the first driverLetters to Greyhound and Peter Pan got us nowhereNever again

Review: Failure to address/refund inadequate/unprovided service. I purchased (2) tickets to [redacted] from [redacted] that was schedule to leave at 3pm yesterday (7/7/2013) I arrived at [redacted] and got on a line around 2:15pm. A bus driver came around 2:45, totally full and asked us to forma new line, THEN a bus came around 3:30, (already completely full) and came to a complete stop at [redacted], open, deboarded a couple of individuals and accepted a couple more but did not receive more then those people on the bus. This bus was already 30 mins late. By 4pm (it was 92 degrees out by the way) there was still no bus, and the Peter Pan counter in the [redacted] booth had zero information or communication with the buses. Upon the advice of the worked at the counter, and our own research, we decided at 4:20 (1.5 hours after initial time) that after 3 buses came at full capacity we would be better off trying to get on a bus at [redacted], since the buses went there first. We took a cab to this station ($22.00) with the hopes of getting on a bus sooner. There was a bus to ** boarding, we waited on line the whole time, and then were denied seating because our tickets said 3pm. At this location, afterwards, I spoke with a few drivers, and someone in the office, Bob, who decided to add another bus, between the schedule 430 and 6pm buses. This departed at 5:45 approximately, and the people at this station were kind enough to make sure we got on this bus. This ordeal, change my arrival time from 6:45pm, to 11:15pm arrival time in [redacted], because such a late time has serious traffic going into the city. I lost 5 hours of my life, $22 extra dollars on a cab, and gained a stressful afternoon and a bad sunburn from waiting in the sun so long. Please let me know if you would like me to give you my order confirmation/ticket numbers, reciepts or etc.

Product_Or_Service: Bus ticket from ** to [redacted] Order_Number: Website Order #[redacted]Desired Settlement: See Complaint Text

Review: [redacted]69Mar 26, 11:03 AM My family and I were scheduled to come back from ** 3/20/15 and arrive at [redacted] by 12:40 pm. This did not happen and caused us to miss our flight @ 5:00 pm back to [redacted]. The bus pulled into a [redacted] bus terminal and as we were leaving the bus died twice in the parking lot. The driver continued on and we ended up stranded in the middle of the highway in [redacted]. We sat there and finally after a length of time the driver finally tells us there is something wrong with the bus and in the meantime there will be other buses coming through to shuttle us elsewhere. We got shuttled to [redacted] and had to take a train to our final destination. We arrive at [redacted] airport an hour late and missed our flight. The [redacted] Rep worked with us for 1 1/2 hours trying to get us a flight out, the earliest we could get was for that Tuesday...there was no way. Finally, by an act of God the Rep. found us a flight going out on Sunday but we would have to fly to [redacted] and rent a car to drive back to [redacted]. Coming home was a disaster!!!Desired Settlement: I want to be reimbursed for the Bus fair from ** to [redacted] $127.50 for 3 passengers, the car rental of $235.20, $715.80 ($238.60 x 3 passengers)the difference for added cost !!for plane tickets,$15.90 for 3 train tickets.
