They did not tell me anything about paying 50% of anything, I was told not to bring the vehicle back unless I was going to pay for the repairsThe texts messages I forwarded you were from The owner and the salesman when they were trying to find out the pay off of the vehicle in August ( Remember I just bought it from them June 26, 2016)After I went through finding out out what the pay off was, that's when the owner told me to come up with another dollars, or I would have to wait to trade it because I was upside down in my loanAs I stated before, I have a deathtrap that shuts off while driving without warning, and I can't trade out of itThat is not right

I am rejecting this response because:they are still not resolving my issue..out of good faith?? they sold me a vehicle that its AC DID NOT work and failed to tell me!! are they gonna pay for me to take the truck to the chevy dealer?? they charge me $just for a diagnose

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2016/06/13) */

Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2016/06/22) */
(The consumer
indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Brought car back...never could leave town because car is unreliableAfter them having the car one day they said that I WOULD BE RESPONSIBLE for the $fix that it needed - a module - because the transmission overheats when idlingThey did not fix anything...told me they gave it some "updates" to the computerMy Jeep is still as unreliable as beforeNothing was fixedAnd per *** the alternator is why the car dies every few days while drivingStill didn't fixSuper uphappyAbsolutely done with this companyAlso got NO paperwork on what the did or what they didForget itProblem was not fixed as they promised! It's awfully funny that I was asked SO many times to remove this review by one of the employees because they were going to solve the issueSure glad I didn't delete it because I KNEW the problem wouldn't be solved
Final Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2016/06/28) */

Initial Consumer
Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2016/09/13) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I do not accept this responseI sent letters TO Peters to inform them that I lived in Charlotte when I purchased the car, and now in florida at the time of this complaint, and wish to have it mailedAfter receiving this letter, the salesman calls to say that it was approved for my sister to come in my stead, and tried to talk me down about this Revdex.com complaint, and how it has brought pressure on his job at Peters, and that they refuse to mail the referralI accepted to send my sisterWhen my sister arrived, they turned her away! Unbeknowngst to the salesman, the accountant/cash office said I would have to come and callWhy would they reply and say "COME by..."? which further indicates, MrP*** and other management ignored my letter, ignored this complaint, and does not take ownership of mistakes, nor otherwise listen to their customers, but rather lay blame at the hand of the salesman
Final Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2016/09/14) */
*** is entitled to her opinionsHowever, we must receive a tax form for any checks writtenThe salesman knew this and did not inform ***I have never seen a letter from *** addressing this issue except for the formal Revdex.com complaint she filedIf *** wants to receive any money from our business, she must come to the dealership and fill out the tax form per policyWe are sorry for the inconvenience and hope that *** hasn't suffered significant financial losses due to this policy

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 6, 2015/11/23) */
Customer called in with *** *** pre-approval letter and we submitted application with information provided from customerApproval came back with higher than desired interest rateWe shopped for a better rate and customer came to
dealershipWhen they came to the dealership they did not purchase a carManager on duty, DeeDee W***, has referred customer to Credit Consulting Services for assistance with credit report
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 8, 2015/12/04) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
It's been three months and the enquires still haven't been removed from my credit report
Final Business Response /* (4000, 10, 2015/12/16) */
Customer did come in with preapproval letter for up to $depending on criteria set by bankCustomer was not happy with interest rates that bank offeredCustomer gave us complete credit application including social security number, residence and work information, etcWe shopped for a better interest rate for customer and customer came back in to the store to shop some afterwards
We would be happy to help customer in anyway that we can, including reimbursement of $for letters that he sent, simply to make amendsHowever, we cannot simply remove inquiries from the credit bureauCustomer would have to dispute inquiries himself through channels available to him through the credit bureau
Final Consumer Response /* (4200, 12, 2015/12/17) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I have disputed these inquiries with the credit bureau however they refer me back to Peters Auto Mall to have them removedA credit repair person was haired to get this resolved however they have also requested a letter from Peters auto mall with no resultsI have also sent out letters to each of the financial institutes that ran credit against me and they also refer me back to Peters auto mallNOTE at no time did I make a statement that I was not satisfied with the interest rate form Capitol OneNot only do they need to provide a letter to get these removed they need to remove the inquiries for peters auto mall

Our day warranty is limited to days or miles on internal lubricated parts only. The A/C is not covered. However, we replaced the $a/c compressor in good faith and only charged the customer $towards the repair. Customer has returned with a/c issues. The
compressor is good. There is a small leak occurring in the system that we have not been able to detect with dye method. The service manager has suggested that the customer get a second opinion from Chevy dealer

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2016/05/11) */
We have helped Ms*** in every way we couldThe car she purchased had a free 50/limited powertrain warranty for days or milesPowetrain warranty applies to internal lubricated parts of the engine and transmissionHer
problems were not related to internal lubricated parts of the engine or the transmissionWe also stored the car for free for a very long time and did indeed offer a free tow to her house until she could figure out a solution to pay for the repair on the car that she has had for yearsWe worked hard to arrange a financing source and we did the repairs for thousands cheaper than her estimate from the other dealerAt this point, Ms*** has to assume some responsibility for maintenance and repairs for her vehicle
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2016/05/12) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I do not accept the response because I feel as if they sold me a car purchased from probably an auction somewhere and never checked the matinence on it before selling it to meThe vehicle had problems immediately and they knew thatI have been repairing it the entire time that I've had it.And yes they repaired the vehicle and I am now having the same problems that they repaired with the rear end and it has not even been a full year since the repairIf nothing is resolved I'll have to be forced to seek legal advice

This high mileage vehicle was heavily discounted and sold to the customer. means that the customer purchased the vehicle without any warranty from the dealer. The term "bullet-proofing" a L Ford Diesel means that the head gasket job has been done including head
studs. It does not mean that there wouldn't be any other type repairs on other systems in the future. We have tried to help the customer as much as possible. The repairs that the customer mentioned our service department performed came at no cost to the customer as an act of good will. We have also offered a 20% discount on the fuel pump job that we now have diagnosed. We are willing to work with the customer in any way possible. We cannot however maintain his vehicle without payment for our services

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/06/04) */
This problem has been resolvedWe traded with customer as soon as he requestedPlease inform us on any further attention needed

We have contacted the customer and are trying to help with warranty claim. Our original diagnosis is not a covered item. However, we are trying to arrange the warranty company auditor to give us a second opinion and hopefully resolve the problem under the warranty. If the
transmission is faulty, the warranty company will replace it. If it is a sensor, the customer will have to pay for the repair

Customer came in with complaint of speed limiter issue. Said she could not go over 75mph. We diagnosed problem as needing admin key from Ford. We paid for the key and the programming at Ford dealership. We are sorry for the delay upon your appointment. The initial
appointment was for diagnostic, which we completed and came to the conclusion that the Ford dealer would need to program key. The Ford dealership was on a back log and they worked us in, but not immediately. The problem that customer has now with check engine light has never been brought in for diagnosis since Ford dealership worked on it. We would be happy to take a look at the vehicle and try to help customer if possible

The warranty that was given at purchase was a 30day /mile limited warranty in which we would pay 50% of parts and labor for any powertrain repairs. The customer also signed a Carfax that gave a complete history of the vehicle she purchased including previous damage. We can provide
the Revdex.com these documents with customers written permission. The vehicle did give trouble and we attempted to honor our warranty. However, the customer refused to contribute her 50%. In good faith, we replaced failed components only in engine top end @ 7/27/16 free of charge to try and help customer. She returned with a different problem and we sent the vehicle to *** *** in High Point to assess the issue. We paid them to replace the EGR and picked up the vehicle. Once again, these were acts of good faith beyond our responsibility under the warranty. Customer did not pay anything. When she demanded her receipts for the work done, we told her that there were no receipts of payments that she had made. She paid nothing.More recently we have been informed by customer that she had other issues that she did not address with us. Allegedly, she had repairs done at another repair shop and allegedly she borrowed money against the vehicle to pay for those repairs. We cannot be responsible for work done at other service facilities Now she owes her payoff and another loan that she has tied to the title from a "Christmastime" loan. The combination of these loans make it impossible for her to trade without out of pocket money. We have shown her ways of trading but she has declined our offers. We have tried to resolve this situation in many ways and we cannot continue if she will not participate her 50% obligation to the warranty agreement (which has been expired for almost one year). We have tried to satisfy her in good faith on many occasions, now

I am rejecting this response because:
This complaint is not about whether there is excessive mileage or that there has been repairs made "out of good will"! It is about your staff not doing what they promised the customer when the truck was purchased. I was told that the truck was "Bullet Proofed". When I asked what that meant, I was told it had been gone through "from top to bottom". The staff at Peter's Auto mall said whatever they felt they need to say just to get the signature and money at the end of the sale. This is BAD business! When I returned after the third time needing the truck worked on, the sales manager couldn't even give me a definition of "Bullet-Proof" as he sent us packing with over 1100 dollars of needed repairs. This was the same man bragging on what a good truck we were buying because they had repaired anything wrong with it. All of this before the first payment was made! That does not sound like the truck had been gone through from top to bottom. The sales staff made verbal promises with a handshake that they were not able (or never intended) to honor. We understood that the truck had high miles and the ONLY reason we agreed to buy it, was that we were told it had been "Bullet Proofed".You may not want to honor your word, but I hope future customers are cautious about your sales practices!

I am rejecting this response because:
They told me when I was up there that the waste gate on the turbo was messing up because of the key situation. The check engine light still hasn't gone off, the interior lights don't work, and the backup camera only works half of the time. How much will it cost to replace the turbo? And for them to look at it? And yet another drive to high point...No one will put me in touch with Kevin P[redacted] like I've asked.

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/11/27) */
We have a past due account on file for this customer. If she has paid the amount in full and has the receipt for payment we would gladly release our lien on the title. Customer is welcome to come and discuss matter with management and we...

should be able to resolve any issues.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2015/12/01) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I do not accept this response. I asked for the Manager to call me back more than once. And no one every called me back. Why would I take time off of work to come down to Peters Auto Mall when NO ONE EVER CALLED ME BACK. I also stated that this was in 2009. I do not have the receipt from 2009. But I do know that I did not have a balance with this company. I also thought that I had the title to this van. What kind of company would have not came and got this van if there was a balance.I also had this van taken back up to Peters Auto Mall to have some issues fixed. NO ONE ever said anything about a bill. This is wrong on so many levels. Someone should have responded before I had to contact the Revdex.com. I want to resolve this issue as soon as I can. But going down to a business and taking time off work to go there and they will not return my phone call sounds like a waste of time. I asked to speak with the manager and she said that he was busy and would return my phone call. AGAIN, I have no bill or receipt for this it was in 2009. All I want is my title, so I can help out a friend.
Final Business Response /* (4000, 20, 2016/03/02) */
We have responded on this matter. Ms. [redacted] needs to pay her outstanding balance in order to obtain her title. No late fees or interest for the time period. Just pay the principle owed.
Final Consumer Response /* (4200, 22, 2016/03/07) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
However, I need this title. I will go there in 2 weeks and pay for this. BUT I want this review to stay on file with Revdex.com. ANY upstanding organization would have sent me a bill in the 7 years or came and gotten the VAN. I KNOW I PAID THEM IN FULL AND IN CASH> I will never make this mistake again. I will also let everyone I come in contact with, just how PETERS AUTO MALL handle all of this.

I am rejecting this response because:they are still not resolving my issue..out of good faith?? they sold me a vehicle that its AC DID NOT work and failed to tell me!! are they gonna pay for me to take the truck to the chevy dealer?? they charge me $100 just for a diagnose...
