Peter quoted me $325 to clean & stretch my carpet. I was doing other work outdoors & didn't have time to stand over him to make sure he did the job right. When he finished, I only inspected the carpet on the edge of LR, because I didn't want to track on the carpet. He would only accept cash and was in a hurry to leave. He followed me to the bank. He then insisted that he quoted me $375 instead to clean & stretch the carpet. I didn't know that he hadn't stretched the carpet until my friend inspected it for me. Her family owned a business that installed & stretched carpet. When I called him about this, I warned him that I would go to Revdex.com if he didn't fix and stretch the carpet. He said that he did the best he could and that the carpet was too old to withstand stretching. My friend cleaned the carpet and found tons of cat hair and dark pet hair. I have neither cats nor dark pets. He didn't even clean marks from hearth rug tape. He takes advantage of older disabled ladies. Make it right.
