Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. I have talked with Mr*** at the Revdex.com and he has advised me that if for whatever reason this agreement does not come to fruition, the case will not be considered closed or will be reopened as necessary.

Hello, I'm Barbara Peterson, I own Peterson Sewing School. You published a complaint about my company on your website on January 18, 2016. I am not a member of the Revdex.com, I have never subscribed to your services. So I am not sure what gives you the right to publish anything about me
or my companyThis particular customer (from Denver) purchased a gift certificate for her granddaughter (from Syracuse). The gift certificate had an expiration date of days from the date of purchase. I called and sent numerous emails to the gift certificate recipient for over a year. No response until approximately months later. The recipients' parent registered for classes on my website; she never told she had a gift certificate of that she was the daughter of the purchaser. She said she owned a karate school and she has a busy schedule. When she mentioned she had a karate school, I told here I had been trying to contact her and her husband for quite some time. You see her mother (from Denver) gave me both of their cell phone numbers. They never responded to any of my messages or emails. I believe the reason the daughter never told me about the gift certificate is because she knew it had expired. Even though it had expired I still tried to accommodate her. As a result of my schedule not fitting with hers, she was then very curt and abrupt with me; then and only then did she mention the gift certificate. She was unreasonable to say the least and then she hung upWhen the mother (from Denver) told me how busy their schedules were, I agreed to go to their home or to their business to teach their daughter because she was home schooled. I bent over backwards for these people several times. I am outragedPlease remove this complaint as it is not valid. Now that you have the whole story, I would like this matter resolved. Remove this complaint immediately. This is unbelievable. I never thought the Revdex.com was this type of company, publishing accusations. Perhaps I should publish a Facebook page that lets people and businesses know the tactics that the Revdex.com uses. What a cheap way to attempt to get somewhere to subscribe to your services. Please respond by email, but know this, I will not banter back and forth with you. I will tell you this, that as a business I am a subscriber to Legal Shield, I will contact them and speak with one of their lawyers on this matterBarbara Peterson, Peterson Sewing School

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Barbara Peterson is not being truthful about many things. I chose to do business with her for many reasons. At the time I first researched private sewing lessons for my granddaughter, her website showed a prayer touting her Christian faith which I have a copy of. I did not find any negative reviews of her business and when I spoke with her on the phone I was very impressed (fooled) by what I perceived to be an ethical, professional person. Barbara’s response to my dispute states that the gift certificate I purchased had a day expiration date. The Peterson Sewing School website was taken down soon after I filed a dispute with the Revdex.com. I have copies of both “Our Prayer” and Class Guidelines which were shown on her website before it was taken down. The website did not show an expiration policy for gift certificates. Barbara Peterson NEVER communicated anything about this to my daughter or me. With my daughter’s busy schedule, I would have never purchased a plan with this restriction. At one point Barbara did call me saying that she had tried to reach my daughter and had not received a response. I explained that my daughter was very sick at that time. That would have been a good time for her to tell me of an expiration date. Barbara’s response states that she tried to schedule lessons for over a year and did not receive a response for almost months. I am in the process of obtaining the cancelled check from my bank which will show that the check I paid to Barbara was dated 2/24/and not even picked up from the post office and cashed for several weeks later. The attachments I am submitting show the date I mailed her a certified letter in September after she ignored phone messages regarding this matter Then Barbara states that she agreed to go to my daughter’s home or business to teach the lessons as though she was doing a favor. The whole point of purchasing private lessons was for the convenience of her coming to my granddaughter at an agreed time. I am not insinuating that Barbara did not attempt to schedule lessons although she lied about the “for over a year, approximately months later partIt is Barbara’s word against my daughter’s as to why they did not transpire. As for myself, as I stated previously Barbara never mentioned an expiration date and when she did finally answer a call from me in November she agreed to mail a refund and never did. I have spoken with Erwin First United Methodist where it was shown she taught lessons and they said she has not taught there for over months which means her website contained information even before I contacted her! Barbara ignored phone messages, emails and even the Revdex.com regarding this matter until apparently something was published about the way she does business and she has the nerve to say she is outraged! I am a grandmother who paid money in good faith to someone who identified herself as a Christian. My little granddaughter never received her lessons and I am out $240.00, I AM OUTRAGED! The fact is an expiration date was never shown or stated, the lessons were never provided and she should provide a refund for
