Review: Pete's electrical installed a heating/cooling system in my home in November 2013. Part of the job was to install an electric water heater, Pete indicated that my electric needed to be upgraded, I gave him a $500 deposit to purchase materials. [redacted] was supposed to return to my home the following Saturday to upgrade the electric. It is now June 2014 and he has not returned. I have repeatedly called him, left messages and attempted to leave messages only to hear that his mailbox is full. He answered a few times and assured me he would be at my home within the week, I'm still waiting. I finally reached him about 3 weeks ago to say that I wanted my $500 back and the $300 for the water heater, that I would find someone else to complete the job. He told me that he would give me back the $800 and do the electric work for free. I said no, that I couldn't rely on him and that I would find someone else but I wanted the money. He told me that he would have the money to me that evening, I'm still waiting. Although he does great work, he is extremely unreliable when it comes to completing the job and answering phone calls.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund in a timely fashion. I did not want to go this route and I told him that if he did not respond to me and give me a refund that he left me no choice.
