I have three pets with this companyALL of their insurance premiums a month DOUBLED!!!! That is insaneOn top of that I am unable to cancel for one pet as its now got a pre-existing illness
I would also like to point out that our contract says I would be receiving days notice for policy increases and I was not provided with same
Doubling the monthly payment is ridiculous!

For over years this insurance company was great, but then it was bought out and I have received poor service from this company for the past year including no payments for months at a time, late payments, and ignored questions on e-mails
There was a sudden change in the early spring where my claims were continually rejected due to missing "medical records"It took more than a month of sending e-mails to a claims officer to find out exactly what was wantedNeither of the two hospitals that I used could understand what medical records meant in the sense of: only for that situation, for one week, one month, the cat's lifetime? Having been a veterinary hospital manager, I was extremely frustrated by not being able to determine exactly what was needed to get paid
This company has a system where it is basically impossible to talk to anyone in authorityWhenever I asked the claims representative to speak to a manager, she ignored me or said it was the system

*** In the premium for my dog's pet insurance policy increased from $per month to $per month for the exact same policy and coverage! Every claim I ever submitted in years was a hassleThey routinely try to deny what should be covered accidents and illnessesI had to wait a minimum of 6-weeks for every single reimbursement to be paid - and that was usually after additional weeks of arguing and re-assessments when they would try to deny a claimThe customer service staff is rude and incompetentI finally had no choice but to cancel my policy as they forced me out with the increased premiumMy dog's chronic illness will now be an uninsurable, "pre-existing condition" with every other pet insurance company for the rest of his lifeThis is very unfair to me as a customer who purchased the policy when my pet was in good health*** ***They have several pet insurance products including OSPCA Pet Insurance so be sure to ask questionsI had a Level policy with OSPCA which is affiliated with Pet Health Inc and PTZ*** ***

On 4th September 2015, my wife and I rescued an elderly St Bernard dog from the Denver, CO based charity *** *** *** *** (***)As part of the adoption, *** sent us a 24PetWatch Day Gift of Insurance, offered by Pethealth Inc
In order to accept the offer, we were required to submit an email claim, which we did, but heard nothing in return
Unfortunately, the dog quickly developed health problems requiring veterinary care
We tried to submit a claim to Pethealth Incbut were unable to do so since they had not sent us a code in response to our uptake of the day offer
After several emails and phone calls, they eventually acknowledged that we had accepted the offer and forwarded a code (PC XXX XXX XX)
On 25th September, we submitted a claim (complete with all veterinary documents) online - as specified - and received automated confirmation that it had been received

I had pet insurance through PetCare for yearsIn May premium was $69.79/monthWhen I went to renew, they said that 24PetWatch was the new company and they could offer me better coverage at a lower cost of $60.24/monthI agreed The following year in May the renewal arrived at a cost of $109.17/month which is an 81% increase! In May the renewal is now $which is a 138% increase in two years! When I called to question they said "we understand how you feel; not our fault, it's the underwriters (*** Insurance) fault".***I feel I was duped and this was a "bait and switch" I should never have agreed to leave PetCare; *** In addition, I submitted one claim that they never paidAfter following up numerous times and spending time being switched around and left on hold, they said they didn't pay because the vet hadn't sent the "history"Even though they never advised that there was any missing information

Original claim was back in December but since we were paying off the vet bill on our own we couldn't get reimbursed from 24petwatch (because based on our policy supposedly)
Called on 10/3/to cancel our policy and spoke to a representative who said not to cancel and that he would speak with Customer Solutions Specialist to see if anything could be done
*** *** called me back on 10/3/but I missed her call so she sent me an email
In email: She instructed me to resubmit my claim and she would waive the late notification and look at the claim and respond to it

In Email: Her response was once I submitted the claim through the portal to let her know (which I did in email), "she said that she would work with our claims team to process the claim and allow for the late submission"

A week later she had a foreign body ingestion and was treatedI had called the customer service line and the rep informed that foreign body ingestion fell under "accident" (as opposed to illness) and as such it would be covered under my policyMy vet submitted the paperwork and my claim was denied as it was deemed to be related to parvoThey are totally unrelatedMy vet submitted the paperwork again, and this time it was denied as it was deemed "illness" and therefore within the waiting period and ineligible for compensationYour rep specifically referred to foreign body ingestion as an accident! So I suppose their reps are poorly trained and don't know their own policies (that's really helpful should you need to call them with a question) or worse, ***
Furthermore, if it was considered an illness and within the waiting period, why not say that the first time? It's because they had ZERO intention of paying my claim, everThey will come up with every excuse in the book to weasel their way out of paying.***Not only are you dealing with a distressing situation with your pet, but you have the stress of dealing with this company as well.***

Last November we purchased pet insurance for our Puppy from PetWatch and have automatic drafts for payments monthly which they take out of our account each monthRecently in July our pet became illWe took him to the vet and file a claim for repayment of bills we incurred two of them The Claim numbers are *** and *** To date, we still have not been paid for the claims the first claim we had to resubmit due to the unprofessional manner in which our claim and customer service with the claim was handled They did not appropriately seek medical records for our pet and when they did they sent the request for info to the wrong office therefore holding our claim up even more and then when we resubmitted it they said it would be an additional daysThe first claim was submitted July 11, the second claim on August While we understand that the process can take time, everything they need has been sent for both claims now and I have not heard back from them
