Review: I contacted [redacted] about a year ago for my May 2012 wedding and to look into invitations. After a meeting my fianc and I decided to hire her for our invitations and put down a deposit to start the process. Unfortunately my brother passed away before the wedding and I was force to cancel due to funeral expenses. I contacted [redacted] and she said when I was ready again to contact her. So this July I emailed her to let her know that my fianc and I are getting married February 2014 and would like to start the process of invitations. That is when she told me she was pregnant and was not doing projects, but would make an exception in my case. Several weeks passed and no calls and she didnt answer my emails. Finally I was able to contact her on her cellphone and she assured me that a check would be in the mail because she had been hospitalized. My wedding is in less then 4 months and she has not returned any of my calls or emails. She is very unprofessional and I still don't have invitations to send to my guests. I need my partial deposit back!Desired Settlement: I would like my $250 deposit back in cash because I really don't trust her to give me a refund check that I will be able to cash. I need this as soon as possible so that I can get my invitations.
