Yes we have been in touch with [redacted] and we have offered her a partial refund since her piglet did grow over our estimated weight. We explained to her at the start that we were having family issues and could not send any funds at that time.

kindness toward [redacted] and since then our family situation has not improved with multiple surgies on my disabled dauhter the latest was last week, my son broke his wrist and also more recent broke his nose. We also had a bacterial infecting on the farm (so we were NOT able to sell any piglets, because we did not want to take the chance of any of them being sick), a car accident and much, much more things that are out of our control. We are trying our best right now to feed our family and keep our power on and keep our home. We do still plan to give [redacted] a partiel refund on her piglet that we offered however like it was explained to her in the very beginning it will be once we get on our feet and we are NOT on our feet yet. We are working very dilegently to catch up with expenses and thought that our tax return would really help since we are caring for 3 children that are not ours as well as our 3 and will be receiving additional on our return however the return was taken by student loans.
Just as [redacted] stated in her complaint I offered to give a partial refund verbally not because we are obligated to but to help her out with the care of one of our pigs that had grown over our estimate but was NOT over weight and was in good conformation and also she was going threw a divorce so it could help her (we figured even while we were going threw our own struggles) and I also explained in the same continues conversation that we would send it when we were back on our feet and able to. (at the time we hoped that would be sooner then later) I mean really we cant send anything we are not able to...we cant send something we do not have. We are a small hard working farm and we offered her a refund not with a time frame set on it No other breeder would have offered anything to her, or answered her messages calls text or emails. We try to help others the best that we can and have been known to give the shirt off our backs... while still caring for our family and at this time we have no shirt to give.
[redacted] is on our priority list and when we get back on our feet we will be sending her a check right off. We are very sorry and have expressed this to her on many occasions that we have not be able to do so sooner but that as soon as we can she will have it.
We are still there for her 24/7 to answer questions and help with her piggy just the same as all of our customers and have never been anything but as helpful as we can to [redacted], her pig has never been sick or ill behaved because of the time care and love we put into raising each and everyone of them. We are sorry again that we have not been able to get on our feet as of yet but feel that [redacted] has a great healthy happy well adjusted pig and we will get the money to her as soon as we are able to.
