For this company to send me a replacement under their warranty because I’m in canada they are charging 51 dollars to ship via ***. It does not cost that amount to ship the part. Their warranty does not state this policy either on the Canadian products being sold in canada witch is not legal.

Contacted by customer service after a warranty repair. Customer service left a voice mail on my phone stating that my return as unacceptable. In addition stated that they shouldn't have to explain the process of cleaning the unit before sending back inferring derogatory comments about myself. The message was very nasty in nature. In addition, the Customer service threatened to void my warranty. When contacting them about the voice mail, I was met with the same representative and the same emotional behavior.

I have been using CatGenie products for over a decade. Are they perfect? No - but what is the alternative? Dirty stinky cat litter? Yuck!

With my CatGenie, my cat always has fresh and sanitized cat litter and no cat pee smell.

The biggest challenge I face is that my cat sometimes eats plastic and when the plastic ends up in the turd blender, it will get clogged. It doesn't flood, but it stops working, oftentimes filled with yucky water. This happens once every couple of months, but is only due to someone leaving a plastic wrapper or bag somewhere my cat can get to it, so it is really our fault.

All in all I think it is the best invention ever for cat owners. My 2nd one just stopped working after 5 years and I just bought another one. I dreading having to deal with stinky, dirty cat litter for a week until my replacement Genie arrives.
