Petra's Rustic Doors

Whether they go by Petra's Rustic Doors or Custom Rustic Doors, this "company's" customer service is abysmal. We ordered exterior (front) double doors from their front-woman, Anneke Schieberl, in September 2025. She told us it would take five weeks for production and delivery. Weeks passed with no updates. We emailed and texted repeatedly over several weeks, which rolled into months, with Anneke telling us, "next week." Every week the door would be ready "next week." After my wife sent Anneke several heated messages through Instagram, asking for proof that they were actually making our doors, we were finally sent an image of a door. It was not the door we ordered. When this was pointed out, Anneke ceased responding to messages via Instagram. Eventually, Anneke asked me to text her husband, Ron, for details. He was responsive and finally arranged for our doors to be delivered. They were finally delivered on January 19, 2026. Upon hanging the doors, our carpenter discovered they were too warped to work as functional doors. They were SCRAP! I contacted Anneke, who told me she would have Ron get back to me. He never did. I followed up with no response. We finally decided to sue the Schieberls to recoup our money for the unusable doors. I would give ZERO stars if I could.

complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  The company spoke with my contractor, [redacted]. at 609-929-[redacted] and said that they will be making a new set of outdoor Front Doors to be shipped to our [redacted], NJ address.  I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.
