Review: There was a water leak on our community well maintained by Petrus Environmental. The water company came and dug up my front yard to fix the leak. They left a large (and dangerous) hole in my yard. I had to call repeatedly to have them come and fill the hole. The repair must not have been done correctly because water continues to seep up through the ground. My yard has become a muddy mess. When temperatures drop, it becomes one large sheet of ice. It has made my yard unusable and a hazard.

I have called and emailed to ask them to repair my yard. I have not received a response.Desired Settlement: I would like for their crew to fix the leak completely and repair my yard - laying down hay and grass seed.

Review: Problems began with our water bill not being sent to the correct address, despite my husband having filled out required paperwork at lease signing. Our landlady still receives our water bill each month and has repeatedly asked us to make the necessary address change, at which time, we let her know that we have been attempting this. We are unable to reach anyone at the water company, Petrus Environmental Services. Have left numerous messages over the last several months, my husband has emailed the President/Owner, with no response. At one point, after they had sent a crew out to our area to perform repair work, they failed to restore our water before leaving for the day. We were without water for over 24 hours, forcing us to have to go and purchase water to cook with, perform daily hygiene routines, etc. We were unable to shower, flush the commodes, do dishes, laundry. At the point of realizing that they had not restored our water, I began calling the company for assistance. Since it was after-hours, it referred me to an emergency number. Problem there, it only answered with a recording stating it was unable to take my call. First thing the next morning, I began calling them again, to no avail. They never answered the phone at any of the extensions available to me via their website. I finally had to resort to driving almost an hour to their office address, only to get there and find that no one was in the office except a front desk assistant who stated she was not an employee of Petrus, she was only there to answer calls, of which she was not doing a very good job. All of this took place on Oct 22-24, 2014. Since then, I've still been trying to reach them to correct the billing address, but still, I cannot get anyone to return my calls. This is no way to run a business, ignoring customers who need assistance.Desired Settlement: Petrus needs to get their act together and start communicating with their customers. I expect, at the very least, a return phone call along with a written apology for the lack of respect and service that I, as their customer, deserves. I expect this from the President of the company, not the young lady at the front desk!!

Review: On August 29, 2013 Petrus Environmental Services Inc (Aubon water) knew about a water outage and did not attempt to ensure customers had water. Nor even let customers know about the outage of water. We pay for a service to have potable water piped into my home. There was no emergency delivery of drinking water or any such gesture. The answer to a call was be patient. I would believe they woke up this morning and was able to shower to go to work and use the restroom in the convenience and privacy of their own home. Were were not afforded the privilege last evening or through out today. And still no water. I pay a price we agreed on to have water into my house. They should have at least the decency to offer bottled/ jug water to utilize until the issue is resolved. this is Very poor customer service. On another note I am to believe there is only two customers on the line where I live. The rest of the community drilled wells and were unhooked from the water system. Is it now we are not as important because we are least? Lastly It takes at least 15-20 minutes to clean the pipes and Flush the hot water tank when the water is first opened up due to the sludge. If I catch the issue early, I shut off my Hot water tank so I don't have to replace it again like my last one that burnt out. Yes, this is multiple times a year that we lose water service with the same lack of care and response.Desired Settlement: I would like a true Apology. A billing adjustment. If this happens again to at least give water (jug or bottled" for a temporary fix. (That would actually cover for me wanting an adjustment on my bill, Because they went above and beyond to get the water service I pay for.) To me customer service is being in front of the problems which deter most issues.
