Pets a Go Go Reviews (3)

Review: This company is way behind on invoicing - frequently months behind. When they do finally complete an invoice, they have a habit of automatically putting it through my bank account without any notice. There is no opportunity to review the invoice for accuracy or make sure that the funds are available in my account. On multiple occasions I advised the owner ([redacted]) that she was not authorized to put through any charges without advance notice and permission. I requested this in writing yet this has been an ongoing problem.

This year, the company put through 3 invoices without permission. This resulted in 3 fees from my bank in the amount of $34 each. I contacted my bank and had to cancel the debit card they were using.

I requested that Petsagogo refund or credit the bank fees that I was charged as a result of the unauthorized debits but they refused and advised me not to contact them anymore.Desired Settlement: I would like the 3 fees that I was charged by my bank to be refunded by Petsagogo. I would not have been charged these fees if they had not put through the unauthorized charges.

Pets a Go Go provided dog walking/pet sitting services through November 2013.

Response:

To Whom It May Concern,

Unfortunately, [redacted] has been a problem client for the majority of the four years we have serviced her with many last minute cancellations, requests and a frequent inability to pay. We have understood her many years of financial difficulties sometimes running a $1000+ balance (which for a small business is difficult) but we NEVER cut off her services even when she couldn't pay for weeks. After the final two months of multiple transactions failing to clear her account, Pets a Go Go agreed to terminate the relationship (as stated, she has not been actively serviced since December **, 2013) and now [redacted] has placed disputes on transactions that were charged as far back as December for services successfully done in October. [redacted] fails to budget for what are known expenses (our prices have not largely changed in four years) and executed not less than three separate automatic credit card authorizations in the time she was a client but still expects us to call/email or text and then wait for what had dwindled to a $26-77 bill (we process 175-200 invoices for other clients weekly without exception). Most of our 1700+ clients appreciate that unlike other purveyours they do not have to pay for their pet sitting or kenneling services before, during or immediately after an expensive vacation. [redacted] enjoyed this luxury as well for years for pet sitting in her home and later our kennel since our priority is the care and loving of their pets and not the immediate billing of our clients. After her threats to bring this to local small claims and the Revdex.com to harm us unless she recuperate her fees for her financial mismanagement, [redacted] has taken to every free internet public forum to slander our reputation and question our business practices.

We can appreciate that [redacted] wishes to recuperate her fees but right now her walking fees owed and owing exceed any outlay on her behalf (we has disputed $129 and still has an outstanding invoice for $26 unpaid). We have prepared legal counsel to pursue this matter in small claims court on our behalf along with any further disputes she places with our merchant services provider.

Sincerely,

Consumer

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

The statement from the business is not true.

- I have not been a problem client for years. This business promotes that they offer coverage for last minute walks. It does not now make me a problem customer if I used a service that they offer. They should stop promoting this option if they then call customers "problem clients".

- I have never run a $1000 + balance. They keep saying this and I would like to see the proof.

- There were not two months of no charges clearing my account. They keep saying this and I would love to see the proof.

- They did not decide to terminate the relationship because of charges not clearing. They terminated the relationship when I told them I complained to my bank.

- I have not disputed any charges - I did advise my bank that this business was continuing to charge my card repeatedly after I withdrew consent. They received payment on all charges submitted. The charges that I complained about were in January and February. There were 3 charges submitted in 2014 after I repeatedly withdrew my consent.

- There were more than one authorizations completed over the 4 years because I changed my card number and/or the card expired. It doesn't matter if I authorized it initially - I withdrew my authorization in writing on multiple occasions.

- I never expected them to call/text/or email. All I asked for was the invoice before they charged my account. This never happened.

- I asked the company to reimburse me for the fees I was charged after they put through charges without my authorization. It was not my financial mismanagement that caused the fees - it was unexpected charges since Petsagogo never provided me with the invoices I asked for. I stated that if they would not reimburse me I would file a complaint, which I did.

- I did not take to every free public internet forum (I am sure there are a lot more) and it is not slander when it is all true and I have proof of everything I say (unlike them).

- I have no outstanding invoices and I have an email from [redacted] stating that I owe nothing else - my balance is zero. Now she is saying I owe her money.

[redacted] has repeatedly posted comments about me and this situation that are untrue. There will be no resolution until she corrects her responses to be truthful. My expenses should be refunded due to her refusal to honor a client's withdrawn authorization.

In addition, [redacted] has behaved in a completely unprofessional manner. After I filed this complaint, she sent me an email staying "If only You spent this much time and effort on getting a job or going to work at the one you had." That is an example of her attitude.

Sincerely,

Business

Response:

[redacted] authorized no further charges so her final bill (attached) has never paid. We also have included the physical GPS proof of this walk. This invoice remains outstanding and we continue to await merchant services outcome before pursuing through small claims and/or our collections company for both matters. As an accredited member of the Revdex.com, we realize that no further response will do anything but continue to inflame [redacted]. And no outcome besides a refunding of [redacted]' bank fees will satisfy her and we are currently unpaid for more than the value of the fees versus the work we verifiably did. We are unwilling to resolve it in that matter but will seek payment through the proper legal channels once Merchant Services and her bank come to their final conclusion.

We fired them after one day. The owner, Nicole, is snotty and cops an attitude. That aside, during the one day her dog walker came to our home to walk our 9 week old puppy, we came home to find her running around our apartment having eaten half a plant and she could've easily harmed herself. When we called Nicole, she told us that her walker told her that they discovered she had gotten out of her play pen after their first visit of the day. Instead of calling us, placing her in her crate, or simply closing the bedroom door to confine her from access to the rest of our home, they neglected to do anything. Terrible business, and we've already alerted our building to ensure that they do not recommend them to any other tenant.
