I am very disappointed in this animal hospital. Our dog received a spaying so we paid and then
they said the 2 stitches would dissolve. They never did so we had took take her back again to take out the 2 stitches today. I told them over the phone that we would not bring our dogs back here again if they charged us again. They told us they had to because of the time they spent, what about my time? The first time they charged $35.00 to take out the stitches and this time they wanted $45.00. They said we will give you a discount so I paid $20.00. Don't go there you will be disgusted! Walt Music

Purchased a puppy that became very sick within a day. Business would not refund and I was treated very poorly. There was NO willingness to help me.I purchased a puppy from Pets R Us on October 12, 2013. In good faith, I paid $860 for a dog I thought to be in good health. I did sign the agreement provided by the store. The puppy became very ill immediately. I called the store and was very upset. I felt like I received no help at all, just a lot of generic responses. In fact, it seems as if the employee indicated they "knew some of the dogs will get sick." We were told to see a veterinarian as indicated in the contract. The doctor did not seem surprised that this puppy came from that store, which again indicates to me there is a history of selling unhealthy animals. He indicated that this dog didn't just get sick; it had to be already getting sick before purchase. Based on the examination by the veterinarian on Monday, October 14, 2014 - the dog was determined to be clinically ill and was incubating the condition at the time of purchase. The condition required immediate medical treatment, and the condition was in existence at the date of sale.I went to the store with this information and was basically "laughed" at. In good faith, I would have at the least expected compassionate customer service. I am a college student and feel I was treated this way because the store believes I have no resources to contest this. The customer service, ethics and refusale to help with this situation is why I am reporting this.I even would have agreed to accept a slightly less refund when returning the dog, because I realize there are overhead costs the business must deal with. They have only offered to pay my $21 antiobotic bill. Additionally, I have a vet office bill and an $860 sick dog. Desired SettlementI am seeking a refund of the dog, which I will return.Business Response [redacted] did indeed purchased a puppy from our store and both her and the sales associate discussed that the puppy could be harbouring a flu virus which is very common. At the time of purchase both[redacted] and the sales associate determined this pup was healthy or[redacted] would have never of purchased this dog in the first place. In our contract it states the purchaser has 72 hours to take new puppy to thier vet for a check and if any antibiotics are required we would refund those medications in full. The exam is soley their responsibility also in the contract. This puppy had $21.00 in antibiotics that were prescribed which did indeed get refunded however that is not just cause to refund $800.00 and take the puppy back. We have followed through with our contract which was signed by[redacted] and we do have sympathy when the puppies get a cold however this is a cold not life threatning at all.
