sloppy packing and no return calls
received my mill direct from another sale on website and it came loose inside with scratches; left voice message on office a week ago and no reply; even if remote working or short staffed, the head manager should step in

I ordered the Pack Paris Chef u'Select 22 cm and I obviously received a terribly treated return. Clearly this package had not gone through any quality control and was just shipped to me as is.
1. Both salt and pepper mill boxes were falling apart with holes and tears.
2. They were packaged differently where the salt (copper) mill was in a plastic bag while the salt mill did not have the bag and was just out in the box as is.
3.. The salt box and mill were covered in salt and looked used.

I contacted customer service weeks ago and got no reply. This was supposed to be a Christmas gift, which I cannot gift anymore. It was not cheap and it is very disappointing.

To add to it all it is almost impossible to get in touch with anyone, to track your order or leave a review on the site. My packing slip doesn’t even have my order number on it. It almost feels like a scam.

I ordered a set of salt and pepper grinders on 1/20/20. The salt grinder does not grind anything. I have tried 3 different sizes of salt grain and adjusted the settings and absolutely no salt comes out. I did this before contating customer service as I thought I was doing something wrong or bought the wrong salt. I have contacted customer service via email over 6 weeks ago and have revived no response. These grinders are just too expensive to not work. I have had Peugeot pepper grinders for more than a decade and have not had a problem with them but the salt grinder was defective from day 1.

I see in our system this consumer reached out to our website contact form on Feb. 21 on a Friday, and by then we were knee deep in staff shortages and then closed down. I have a customer service person working remotely and she prioritized this consumer to reach out to him tonight. She emailed him a few minutes ago, apologizing of course for the delay and offering our standard replacement or repair option.

This is an easy fix, as I mentioned, either he sends it back to us for repair, or in this case as a gesture of goodwill, we usually just send a brand new mill, after verifying via emailed pictures if indeed it is our brand.

(We do have an automated reply to our web contact form that we will reply in order received and it might be several weeks for final resolution, to which we updated again two weeks ago for our state closure mandate).

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. Customer service has reached out to em agreed to replace the faulty product, however she says it will be shipped "once we start shipping again". I just need to know when that will be. Thank you.

My husband I purchased a 32-inch wood Peugeot peppermill from Milan Italy in approximately 2000-2001 and the peppermill that was sent to us never worked (the mechanism was damaged). We never used it and remained on our countertop for years. I emailed Peugeot Saveurs North America, LLC in July of 2018 to find out if they would repair it under their lifetime warranty. We sent pictures, but they said they would need to look at it to decide.

We securely wrapped the peppermill and sent it to them at our expense. They agreed to repair it on July 11, 2018. ***, a Customer Service Representative, sent me a couple of emails in August and September, saying that she was looking for a special tool to replace the mechanism with a new one. On one email on August 31st, she stated that her colleagues in France might be able to help. Finally on September 13th, she said she was able to get the new mechanism in and that she would be sending it back to us.

We received the peppermill soon after but did not remove it from the box until Thanksgiving. When my husband picked it up, he noticed that the top wood was severely cracked. This was not how it was when we sent the peppermill to them for repair, as can be verified by the pictures I sent to her before we sent the peppermill to her. Clearly the Peugeot employee who tried to repair it damaged it instead, and they sent it back to us hoping we wouldn't notice.

I sent Peugeot an email on November 23rd, requesting a replacement of equal value and that we would send them the one that was damaged. I let her know in this email that we would take steps if necessary to resolve this issue, but I am not getting any response from her. I have saved the emails and took before and after pictures to corroborate what has happened.

We always take extra care of the product during reparation and we assure you that your mill left our offices in perfect shape, unfortunately we cannot controlwhat happens during transit.

We can send you a new one, I will send you an email so we can solve this issue today.
