Regarding *** *** complaint #***
I did do family pictures of *** and her family as well as a session of her son for baptism purposes on September 20th As far as the pricing, My sessions are $for a family session and have been that price for yearsHer option, since
her husband was in the military was either a free session or 20% off her entire order20% was going to save her the most moneyAfter the photo session she informed me that she needed a print (8x10) ASAP for her to display for the BaptismI informed her that usually It would take a few days for my lab located in California to get a print of quality to me and she said that she needed it soonerThe other option and the only way for me to get a print that fast was to order from the local Walmart and that the print would not look that greatSo I made that happen (which is not of my business practice) on Sept20th Happy customerIn the mean time I’m doing my editing and post a couple of images on Facebook so she can see how things are going(I give myself up to weeks for editing) She then asks if I could take off or move the copyright logo watermark that I had on the images that I postedThese are my copyright images not hersShe also asked me for another image of her family so her son could show it to his class because he was student of the weekSame story, it needed to be fast and I complied (once again not of my business practice) on Oct5th with a rush 4x6. At this time, I have not received any money for any services that I have done for ***. I always take payment for the session before taking any pictures, but she insisted and I again complied
After showing her the images during our viewing session on Oct2nd at 8pm, we still had no order and she left with the price sheetI ended up putting the images online on my website for her to take time in figuring out exactly what she wanted.
She has had a price sheet the entire time and knew the package pricingThe package that she ordered on December 5th, via phone was My gold pkgwhich included a 24xSoft Top Thin Wrap Gallery Canvas Print of image #plus additional units (8xsized sheets of 33,37,8298,59,50,58) for $Then she ordered an additional units at $each of 44,47,29, baptism image and 5xof ($150.00) and an album at $(of image #‘s 48,1,3,7,41,13,17,35,59,64,66,67,8298,49,50,51,57,58,44,46,45,and 47, none of which are of the Baptism). For some reason she didn’t realize how much she was ordering and was surprised by the totalShe mentioned to me that she thought it was only going to be $I then told her that the package that she was ordering was indeed around $($475) but then she was ordering additional product (the extra units and the album)So at that point she said that she only saved up $I told her that we could hold off on the album and the extra images and keep it at the $rangeShe agreed to hold off on the album at that timeOn Dec5th she paid with check #$Then around Dec 25th she wrote check # for $to cover the extra printsI can provide copy of Invoice for proof
The image #’s she gave me over the phone were all the images that I ordered for her packageAfter she received her order on Dec10th we made changes to image # because her son noticed a star shape of some kind in his hairThen I also ordered a new 8xof image #(family image) and (Baptism image) which were never charged to her account and I did not go back and charge her.
On Jan7th she contacted me in regards to another image of her son that seemed to be cropped wrongThe image itself was not cropped wrong she ordered the wrong image come to find out after messaging back and forthInstant Messaging communication between *** and I can be provided for proof. Through this process I have had to put her images online separate times at no charge to herI Charge $each time I have to re-list images online because it costs me to have images there.
I ordered on Jan 16th the replacement image for her at no chargeI informed her that the image was in and she could pick it up on Feb5th but she never came to get itSo I Sent her another msg on March 28th that her picture was still here to be picked upWhen she came to pick up the replacement picture and we spoke about the albumShe asked if I had finished the album yetI told her “No” I am very busy with other paying customers and don’t have time to work on something that has not been paid for yetOnce paid I would be more than happy to make the time (to hours for a custom designed one of a kind album with photo cover) and work on the album
I never received any other communication from her regarding the album until March 25th, when she asked me if I had time to add the Baptism images to the album yetI told her that I have not worked on the album because it had not been paid for yetThen I sent her the detailed invoice showing everything
After she received the email with the invoice she informed me that she didn’t owe anything elseShe also mentioned that she never ordered the additional sheets because my prices are too highI have proof of all of the images ordered and she did indeed receive these additional imagesShe then agreed to pay the remainder of the balance. After I received Check #for payment of ($for the album and the rest taxes from the entire order) I began work on the albumThis check was never deposited or cashedThe images that she selected during the order process for this album were mentioned above and I added the one and only selected Baptism image out of all the Baptism imagesNever, at anytime, was there any other baptism images selected for any part of the order nor was there ever any mention of not doing any of the family images in the albumI spent four plus hours working on this album of the images she selectedThis album is a very classic beautiful albumOnce finished I messaged her to go view the album page images on my website and make sure it looked goodThen she messaged back and told me, for the first time, that she wanted only the Baptism images in the album Not the family imagesI honestly could not believe what I was reading after spending so much time on this albumSo I called her to try and clear this upI told her that I used the images that she selected specific for this album and she tells me she wanted only the Baptism images and that I had to re do itShe also told me either I redo it or give her all the images on a CD with the copyright to print herselfI told her I would never do thatI never give out my copyright on any of my images to anyone unless the customer has spent over $on prints from meThen she began verbally assaulting me calling me names and telling me that I was not allowing her son to have these valuable childhood memoriesI reminded her that I created the album with the images that were selected and that if she wanted to order another album ($not $like she said in the letter) with the Baptism images I would be happy to do soShe screamed at me even more calling me a “Fking Bh” as well as other profanitiesI decided at that time that I was no longer going to accept the abuse from her anymore and told her that I was not going to deposit or cash her check #for $for the album and was not going to work on any other album because of the way she was talking to me. I have never been spoken to by any customer in the entire time I’ve been in business, nearly six yearsI do a great deal of these custom albums for customers and have never had any problems before, nor have I ever had a customer want so many additional edits and changes and reorders and special rush images everI have never worked so hard to make a customer happy than I have for ***
It would be futile for me to create more albums or try compromising with ***, especially after the verbal abuse I took. I will print the album that was created or she can take a single 4xof each (of them) of the Baptism imagesWhich would cost the same

After going thru all of the orders and correspondence there was additional 8ximages of the family and a Baptism image that I did not charge her forEquates to $
I can and will provide documentation for everything mentioned here in this letter in order to prove what I have said
