Ms*** was not the person who contacted me initially it was her friend or relativeI explained to Ms*** as well as the individual who contacted me initially how involved these German cars wereI told her they often get very expensive
to repairI explained more so to the initial contact that too often we have had vehicle of this type, German vehicles, that people have had no idea how much cost of repairs areWe get into diagnosing the work and spending hours and hours and that equates to many dollars, and people just abandon themI explained this to them and told them everything I knew about the Audi vehicles, and I wanted advanced payment so that I did not get burned like other timesI told them if they wanted to get it down here to do so and we would check it outShe advanced a $deposit on it, and we have a work order that indicated $worth of labor on it and left her a creditI just haven't have time to get a written formal responseI would be open to refunding her the amount and not leaving it just a creditEverything just needs to be completely understood

My niece owns a repair shop where I initially took the vehicleHer shop primarily deals with domestic vehicle but said they would see what they could do, they were unable to do anything with the vehicle and I asked her where I could take it, she suggested PFC ImportsShe hauled the car there and when I spoke to the gentleman, I explained what the car was doing and he said he could check it over and from what I was explaining is sounded that it needed a courtesy module and a thermostat and water pump and quoted me at $I asked him to please check the engine first and make sure that the car was worth putting that much money into as a new engine would cost $He advised me that before he would do anything I would be required to put a $deposit downI sent a check trusting that this man would not take advantage of meHe cashed the check and called me several days later and said the engine was no good and I told him "ok, I will be down to get the car and the rest of my deposit" he then told me that he would refund $as he checked all the wiring to determine that it was in fact the courtesy module when he already knew what it was when the car arrived, and I had asked him not to do anything until he checked the engine to determine if it was a good engine or notI have contacted several shops, including an Audi dealer and was told $was more than enough to cover the cost to check an engine and wiring even though he was not asked to check the wiringI would like $of my $back pleaseI have been taken advantage of
