that Phase 4 was trying to "scam" you and I want to make sure you completely understand everything regarding the events that transpired Monday and the current situation we are now in because of the breakdown of communication. When I came out Monday I got there a little early so I could made sure I had enough daylight. I called you to inform you that I was going to stop by early and wanted to see if you would be available to meet me. I arrived at approximately 5 pm and noticed a black truck parked outside. I walked up to the door and knocked and rang the door bell and no one answered. I left the business flyer at the door to make sure you knew I stopped by, because up until this point I did not hear from you.My plans were to survey your structure via the ground, make sure our proposed price of 265 dollars was accurate and meet with you. I at no time said I would be doing your roof inspection, nor did I say I completed the inspection. I believe that if I actually got to meet with you or talk to you for more than 5 minutes on the phone you would not think we were trying to "scam" you. When I spoke with you on the phone I told you I surveyed your property and mentioned that we would need a check before we could prepare you a document.  I was hesitant to give you any information whatsoever because I did not have much other than what I surveyed from the ground.Roof inspection prices vary and I needed to make sure I was not over billing you; however, in hindsight I am willing to admit it was my mistake to tell you that you should send a check to our office. I should have never asked you to do this. I can understand why you felt like we were trying to "scam" you; however allow me to assure you that this could not be further from the truth. Allow me to be honest again, I have not been working at this company for a very long time. While I have extensive experience in other facets of general contracting roofing is not my strong suit and I planned on having your roof walked by our roofing foreman Joe, to be positive I did not give you any misinformation. I understand that you do not know me so I do not expect you to trust me but I think that if you did get to know me you would feel differently. I am a former veteran and EMT and would never do anything dishonest. I am truly a believer in karma and what goes around comes around. I always try to do the right thing and sometimes situations like this present themselves.I am sorry that you did not get a good feeling from your business dealings with Phase 4 and I would hope that you would give me the opportunity to have a phone conversation with you or at least the owner of our company. I have informed him of everything and he would also like to speak with you regarding your Revdex.com comment. If you take the time to look at some of our reviews on Home Advisor, Proch, and Angie's list I am confident you will see that we are a reputable company with a track record for delivering a fantastic product at a great price.I am an honest, hardworking, dedicated, caring individual and will not have my reputation tarnished because of a misunderstanding and I would hope that you would at least give me the respect of returning my phone call to clear up this misunderstanding. Sincerely,Patrick M. Review: On 8/30/12, I contracted a flat roof replacement with Phase 4 with a 5 yr warranty for $4300.00. I made a initial payment of $1400.00 and a final payment of $2900.00 upon completion. A few months after work was completed we began having leaks at which time we made numerous phone calls and requested service with no response. I finally made contact and spoke with the owner (Matt) and again requested if he was going to honor the warranty at which time he stated I still owed him money for gutters and hung up.

For the record I have a signed contract which verifies the the total amount owed was paid in full and can produce the canceled checks proving payment. I did not contract any gutter work and do not owe money for such.

I had two men come out today, Mario and Matt, an install an attic fan. They were so competent and hardworking men. I was so impressed with the work that I would call this company for anything. From the minute, I placed the call to Daniel C[redacted], from Phase 4, to the next day of installing my attic fan. Working in the construction field all my life, I know how important it is to have good and fast service. I will recommend you to anyone.
