My husband came home from hospital on 1/6/after a day stay and major surgery from a infection that almost killed him he has to have a wound care times a day every hrs due to a open wound from the surgeryI spoke to [redacted] with PHCN on the evening of 1/6/and was assured a nurse would be out in the morning on 1/7/.This was suppose commence on 1/7/in the morning while I am at work so I could do the night dressing before bedA Nursr from [redacted] called at 2:pm on 1/7/and said they would be out in about hr well she came and changed it,very late but it was changed on 1/8/there was no nurse that showed up I called the agency [redacted] and was told that they only had visits authorized by Professional Health care Network and was going to space them out and would not be sending out a nurse then [redacted] the director of [redacted] said we are not contracted with your insurance I would need to contact my ins and find out who was well in the mean time no change was doneI contacted his insurance and they told me the same thing and referred me to another company but in the mean time this still has to go through PHCN I spoke to [redacted] and [redacted] and I was told by [redacted] a supervisor that all the Droffice had to do was to fax another referral and they would send out another Nurse from a different agencyI contacted the DrOffice and spoke to [redacted] she faxed the request PHCN said they were having fax issues and did not get it so a second time I called the Droffice and spoke to [redacted] who relaxed the referral [redacted] called me at 5:pm on 1/8/and said they will not be sending out a nurse since one already came out and taught me how to change the wound, and I canceled them well first I was not taught how to change the wound since I was not home I was at work when they came out, second I did not cancel [redacted] told me that she was not contracted with the insurance and the insurance also told me that when I called them and referred me to another companySo in the mean time my husband needs to be changed and I have no one to come and change or take care of his wound since this PHCN will not authorize a NurseWhen I called the insurance they said that he has no limit on his home visits and has co-pay

I spoke to [redacted] with PHCN on the evening of 1/6/2014 and was assured a nurse would be out in the morning on 1/7/2014 .This was suppose commence on 1/7/2014 in the morning while I am at work so I could do the night dressing before bed. So in the mean time my husband needs to be changed and I have no one to come and change or take care of his wound since this PHCN will not authorize a Nurse. When I called the insurance they said that he has no limit on his home visits and has 0 co-pay.
