I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
Regards,
[redacted] its unfortunate that we are at this point.  but he has forced me to take alternative measures due to his actions.... time line is as follows:10/9 received a text message from [redacted]  asking for my address and indicated he was  sending a check... this was before all of his personal mishaps which began on 10/11 10/20 sent a text message to [redacted] to follow up no answer from [redacted]10/29 sent a text message to [redacted]- following up have not received anything10/29 [redacted] responded- he will be able to be "caught up" by the 15th-  makes no reference of sending a check10/29 responded to [redacted] can I expect a check by the 7th....No response from [redacted] since 10/29filed complaint with Revdex.com on 11/10[redacted]s response shows ONLY his intent.  He mentions that he wants an opportunity to reinstall???  As he knew from the date (ED) from his company uninstalled the system and charged for the uninstall that we were selling the house and taking the unit to the new home.  We also, paid them to install a new hotwater heater to replace the tank we removed and took with us..  The house is sold, we no longer own it so there is no way to reinstall the [redacted] tankless system...  he knew all of this and that is why we had resolved this earlier.      lets not forget that I paid to have this "defunct" water heater installed and unistalled at the new house.   This could have all been avoided had they not sold me the unit with the idea it could be moved with no problems if we sold. they are the professionals and should know and stand behind their product. We would like see the dollar amount and date of disbursement  to us before I can agree to settling this.

A check for the full amount of installation (check #[redacted] for 3500.00) was written on 11/18/2014 and was mailed that day or the following day. The check cleared my bank 12/3/2014. As for my no response to getting the check to him on the 7th. I would like to apologize. I had stated earlier in the conversation it would be the 15th that I would be caught up. I should have responded.

I do not dispute the warranty of the [redacted] Water Heater. We have had issues with this company and have since switched water heater companies. This is an unfortunate situation. Yes I have agreed to reimburse this client the original water heater price and install per our conversation on the phone....

As far as me being a man of my word, I have attached a screenshot of our conversation stating I was having some personal problems as well as a short term collection problem and that I would be catching up on the 15th (it is the 12th that I am writing this). My personal problems was my mother passed away Oct. 11 and I broke my leg requiring surgery so I have had my hands full. I do still plan on honoring my agreement it is just unfortunate this had to be addressed in this manner before the time I said I would be able to. As far as getting the original water heater back the company said they warranty original install location I would just like the opportunity to accommodate their process. I do not believe this is unethical.

Review: about Oct 2013 we contracted PHD pluming to fix our hot water heater. when they came to our home the assessed the hotwater heater to be out of commission and sold us a new tankless hot water heater and a water filtration system... approx $6500- when we were sold the units it was made very clear that the units can be transferred if we decided to move - this was important because of the price and the idea we might move the following year- since we can take with us we decided to move forward- in Aug of 2014 our home was listed for sale and my husband contact PHD to remove the two units so we could take them to our new home in [redacted]. we paid PHD approx $500 to remove both the tankless hot water heater and the water filtration system so they could be moved with the moving company. hiring a new contractor to install the new system in our [redacted] home the tankless hotwater heater was showing an error "ER" in the window of the unit once installed. I immediately called the manufacture and informed them the read on the machine and asked for help. after obtaining information the manufactured made it clear that the warranty was voided upon unistalling of the unit and taking to a new location. They would not cover anything on the machine. But in that same conversation the "ER" was unable to be repaired as the manuf would not issue or sell the parts allow due to liability- the machine was basically scrap. upon finding this out I called the owner of PHD plumbing ([redacted]) and he informed me he did not know that removing the unit voided the warranty but that he had the same issue with the unit at his own home and they had to replace a twice before he decided to move on to a different product. this is the owner of the plumbing company and he didnt know it voided the warranty if it was moved??? he should have never sold us the product with the idea we could move the units and he should have never had his plumber unistall the product without informing us it voided our warranty. From here I have no hot water tank and a new one is going to cost me $3500. We went without hot water while the new tank was ordered and then installed. we paid $1000 to have the old tank installed and then uninstalled.... (it wasnt the plumbers fault who was trying to install the new unit to know if it was working or not)- I have been in contact via text and over the phone... he has promised and promised to make this situation right I received a text from him 10/9 asking for my address to send me a check making this all right.... still have not received....its been one excuse after excuse as to why he has not sent it.. I have tried to work with him and give him the opportunity to make this right he has just strung me along. shallow promise after promise but no check. He has also, asked to have the tank returned to him so he can reinstall in the old house and try to get the company to honor the warranty. not sure that is ethical either. the house has been sold and transferred to the new owner. PHD Plumbing sold me a tankless hotwater heater and they are not standing behind the product. they came to my home and uninstalled the product and didnt know it voided the warranty knowing full well I was moving the unit to a different location. [redacted] is not a man of his word.... this needs to be made right as he is the professional/owner of this plumbing company. I would have NEVER purchased this unit for the price know I could not relocate the unit and it void my warranty.... I owned the unit from 10/2013 - 7/2014- uninstalled 8/5/2014--- THIS IS BAD BUSINESSDesired Settlement: PHD plumbing needs to reimburse me for the cost and installation of the tankless hotwater heater that is now scrap-. $4000

reimburse for uninstalling product $450- and telling me its ok to move this unit to another property

price to install the moved tank and uninstall $1000 that we had to pay for the plumber.

total $5450
