There are several issues with M3W’s response and no responses on some of the main issues we addressed originally. First, M3W was well aware of the pluming issue and in fact when we first meet to go over the job the job was set up to be done in two parts from the start and we paid a slightly higher amount because he had to come back twice with smaller loadsThere was no call the day of the job starting, that is a lie. Second, the onsite supervisor told my business partner he needed a check for an additional $the day they supposedly finished the first half of the jobThis is above and beyond our agreement and the work was nowhere near completed as agreedSeveral areas of the worksite were either not poured properly or not even removed for preparation of the new concreteUnfortunately, my partner did not have knowledge of the full scope of work and didn’t realize they had not completed what was agreed when he paid them, the check was cashed so quickly a stop payment could not be doneThis additional amount should never have been asked forNo company would volunteer to give another company extra money outside of an agreement to think this is true would be ridiculousFurthermore, they left large piles of jagged concrete with are sticking out on the driveway and it has been sitting there for three months now. M3W is in the position to correct and finish the projectThe day of the pour I was notified that morning that they only wanted me to complete half the area that was bidThey had hired a plumber that was unable to obtain a permit, both parties agreed to pour half of the area and finish when the
plumber had completed his scope of workWe had also agreed to receive half payment instead of full paymentAfter completion upon agreed area, SceneClean issued checks greater than agreed price with the understanding that M3W was to come back in two weeks to finish the contractual amountSceneClean has yet to obtain a permit or finish plumbing work for M3W to complete the agreed upon workOnce a permit has been obtained and the plumbing work is complete M3W will complete the contractual work
