Mr [redacted] did purchase a trailer from us on 2-12-He did call concerned about his plates on 3-13-As of March 1st the state of *** changed its policy dealing with registration of trailersMost dealerships including car dealerships were under the impression that the change would only affect trailers purchased after that dateHowever, when we went to do the registration for Mr [redacted] we were informed that we would have to change some of our paperwork and resubmit themBecause of this we were delayed longer than the days on several trailers and were assessed a penalty on them through the state which we paid forWhen Mr [redacted] purchased his trailer he was given a temporary tag issued through the state database that was good for daysThe state does this so that the customer is covered just in cases like thisAt no point was Mr [redacted] not able to use the trailer based on the tagsAs of the date of this Mr [redacted] has his platesPrior to his phone call regarding the plates Mr [redacted] called us concerned about the size of this trailer and felt that it was too big for his motor home to pullHe talked with us and we told him that we could build him a smaller trailer and would take that trailer backHe left the phone conversation with he wanted to discuss with his wife to see what they wanted to doThe next time we hear from his is when he called regarding his plates which at that time he told us that he had sold the trailer and was rushing us because he needed the title to sell itMr [redacted] bought the trailer on site after spending over an hour inspecting it, took the trailer home and then decided it was too big for him and is now trying to use the issue with the plates to return itWe told him during his first conversation with us that we would take the trailer back and get him a smaller oneNow that the trailer is registered with the state there is no way we can take the trailer back for a full refundif he would like we can take it back at trade in value

I am rejecting this response because: They did not make a reasonable offer, only that they would offer trade in valueIn addition, they never offered to take the trailer backI did request a quote on another trailer but there was no responseI need to sell this trailer and find another but prefer to deal with a more reputable firm.My main complaint is still that I do not have a title and they did not apply in a timely manner

The only sticking point where communication with Mr*** fell through was his requirement of payment in certified funds. I was willing to send him a check but was not going to jump through hoops to get a certified check for
such a small amount
