Review: I reserved a room for August 3rd and 4th. Their website touts a "specials page" which details an August special of 99 dollars per night if I include the words "last minute offer". I called them on August 2nd to reserve by phone and used the term "last minute offer", which was acknowledged by the representative. I made certain I would get that advertised price by specifically asking the rep if I was getting the 99 dollar per night price. She half heartedly confirmed that. I suspected already she might charge me the regular price, and 10 minutes later when I received the emailed receipt for my debit card, I realized that I was not given the August special price that I was promised.

I called them and they did not pick up the phone. I emailed them, asking them to repair their "mistake", and they did respond telling me I would not get the August "last minute" price because "the last minute offer is available only 14 days prior to my arrival"

I emailed them back and told them my reservation was within 14 days of my stay, which is exactly the criteria needed to get the "last minute offer".

The title they have given their "last minute special" really says it all, but

I have screenshots in case they change the wording on the page. I will still be staying at her establishment but I do not trust her. Reading her " policies page", I see she can charge me hundreds of dollars on my debit card if she suspects that I smoke in the building, so now because of broken trust, I am forced to call my bank and discontinue this debit card because I dont trust her with my card info.

I will be sleeping at this place tonight (Sunday) and tomorrow night because I need the place to sleep while in Philly, but I want the advertised and promised price. The lack of trust they created will cause me to leave my valubles in my car, and to cancel my debit card account to prevent them from adding on more false charges. Therefore, they will not be able to credit my debit card should they choose to do the right thing. They will need to mail me a check.

With any luck, they will rectify this before you get involved.Desired Settlement: Refund the difference in cash or check and apologize for forcing me to go through the headache of getting a new debit card! I will have to change this account number on several payee accounts! Mucho headache!
