I'm disputing what the Philadelphia public auto auction has to say it was all a lie they were very rude plus all of the employees seemed like they were afraid to say anything because after the boss frank left one of his employees told me to leave the car there and he would talk to his manager in the morning about possibly trading the car in for something else but unfortunately the police were telling us we had to move it also I have witnesses my mother and aunt was present at the time as I was bidding on the car my mother step out of the auction building after seeing the car I was bidding on to speak on the phone with my uncle to make sure I was making the right decision on purchasing the *** *** and the car they gave to me(the bad one) she saw standing outside as I was bidding on the other ***! I will attach any paper work I have on the car because I would like to seek further action against the auction company its not fair that I used my hard earned money to be sold a lie and still cannot drive the car because its unsafe! They need to be held accountable under the limon law because that's what they sold me!

April 17, 2016Dear *** ***:This will Serve as Philadelphia Public Auto, Inc.'s (Philadelphia Public Auto) response to Jayauna Bullard's response of April 07, Contrary to *** ***'s allegation, there are signs prominently posted around our auction site giving clear and unambiguous notice to all customers that all our vehicles are sold strictly "AS IS" and each and every sale is final upon payment of the purchase price, as evidenced by "Exhibit B" enclosed with this responseAgain, also prominently posted around our auction site are signs telling customers that they should have the vehicles they wish to bid on carefully looked over, well in advance of the time for the auction, due to the fact that Philadelphia Public Auto also get all of the vehicles it auctions "AS IS" and, thus, Philadelphia Public Auto is simply unable to guarantee anything about the condition of any vehicle.*** *** also alleges that she was told that the warranty she was offered was unavailable for "any vehicle older than 2005"With all due respect to her, this allegation is completely false, as Philadelphia Public Auto simply does not have any such warranty and none of Philadelphia Public Auto's employees, servants or agents ever told her any such thingFurthermore, *** *** alleges that she was "forced to sign the sheet to deny the warranty coverage', in addition to being told by a manager that if she did not sign the sheet, she would not be allowed to take the vehicle that she had purchasedAgain, with all due respect, it is Simply unimaginable that in this day and age, particularly in the US market, where buyers are known to be very Sophisticated, for any Seller to have the ability to force any buyer to do anything, whatsoeverBesides, Philadelphia Public Auto is always aware that doing anything that may turn customers off can always drive them away and cause loss of business to the corporationFinally, Philadelphia Public Auto simply does not have the power neither the ability to Stop any buyer from taking away a vehicle that she has purchased, and this is a fact that all of Philadelphia Public Auto's employees are very well aware ofThus, no employee of Philadelphia Public Auto has ever told *** *** that she could not drive her car away, after she had fully paid for it.Thank you for your professional courtesies.Very truly yours, manegment

April 3, 2017Kindly allow this to be the response of Philadelphia Public Auto Auction ("Auto Auction") to *** ** ***'s complaint, fited on March 10, 2017. Auto Auction fully agrees with *** ** *** ("*** ***") that, on March 08, 2017, he purchased a *** *** ("the
vehicle") from Auto Auction, for $3,(Three Thousand, Four Hundred Dollars)Furthermore, Auto Auction fully agrees with *** *** that on March 09, 2017, *** *** picked up and drove away the vehicle from Auto Auction's sales. However, Auto Auction categorically refutes any and all other allegations contained in *** * * * * * ***'s complaint*** *** alleges that, on March 09, 2017, when he came to Auto Action to pick up the car he had purchased on the previous day, "I was given a car and rushed out of the building." To the contrary, *** *** picked up the car that he paid for and drove it off the lot, without any complaint, whatsoeverIn no way was *** *** rushed out of the premises of Auto AuctionIn point of fact, as part of our practice, customers are always encouraged to hang around our lot, in hopes that they will find other vehicles that interest them*** *** further alleges that "...the transmission is shot..." Auto Auction had no knowledge of the condition of the transmission, when the vehicle was sold to *** ***Given that Auto Auction sells alf of its vehicles "AS IS", customers are consistently advised to comprehensively inspect any and all vehicle they wish to buy, in order to make sure that they are fully aware of the condition of the product they are bidding on*** *** also states that he took pictures of the car he was supposed to getNeedless to say, Auto Auction has absolutely no control over pictures that members of the general public take of vehicles on its lotHowever, whichever car *** *** had taken pictures of, if that car was not the one he paid for and drove off the lot, the pictures taken by him are totally irrelevant to the transaction in questionRegarding the thirty to forty phone calls that *** *** alleges to have made to Auto Auction, on the date that he wrote his complaint, Auto Auction had no knowledge of such callsFinally, *** *** alleges that he purchased the vehicle in order to work and provide for his children, Auto Auction never inquires into customers' reasons for buying its vehicles, other than that customers simply like what they bid on. In light of all of the above, Auto Auction respectfully requests that *** ***'s complaint be dismissed, for being meritless.Thank you for ?our professional consideration.Regards,Management

Review: I attended Philadelphia Public Auto Auction on November 2, 2013, where I deposited $1,130 on a $1,700 vehicle I was interested in ($1,700 minus $1,130= $570). I then asked the salesman if it was possible for me to examine the vehicle more closely at which I was told no because the vehicle was now off the market & would be sent to another lot to keep it from re-entering the market & being sold to someone else, a little confused & upset I went home to review the paperwork for the vehicle I discovered that on top of the $570 there were other fines & fees which totaled an additional $1,390. On November 6, 2013 I called the office of The Philadelphia Public Auto Auction to find out how much money I needed to bring to recieve the car I spoke with a representative from the auction only to have her tell me that the $1,390 that I thought I had to pay to drive away with the vehicle was incorrect she informed that I actually owed $1,592 & I asked her what did I owe an extra $202 for she never explained furthermore if I did'nt pay $1,592 before November 9, 2013 the vehicle would then re-enter the market & I would forfeit my deposit. The more I spoke with this woman the more frustrated I became & the more I wanted nothing to do with the auction. I deposited money on the vehicle was never given an opportunity to fully examine it, the vehicle is worth $1,700 after speaking to the auction's representative I would've had to pay almost double to own the vehicle, & the auction wont give me a refund on my deposit .Desired Settlement: Refund- Cash
